I stayed here in March 2014, and was rather disappointed having visited the website. I was looking forward to a rooftop bar with views over Amman. The views are there, but the bar was derelict. However, the Ouzo bar / restaurant is pleasant (although not quite as big as the website leads you to believe). The rooms are fine, as... More

Situated in back streets of the embassy district this hotel has great potential. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The bar downstairs can be noisy but it's a lovely spot and doesn't trade too late into the evening. Breakfast is adequate. It's an easy taxi ride to downtown but make sure you get reception to give you a hotel... More

We stayed in the Hisham Hotel at the beginning and end of a holiday in Jordan. The rooms were nice with good bathrooms and the staff were helpful but there are a few drawbacks. The night club in the basement is very noisy so there is no way you can open a window at night. There is also construction all... More

The Hisham Hotel was our "home" for several weeks while locating an apartment in Amman. The staff, everybody from the owners to the cleaning staff, were extremely nice and accommodating. Many of the staff have been with the hotel for 5+ years, so you are guaranteed service that is quality and well-maintained. It is a locally-owned hotel with a lot... More

I stayed for a night, when I was on a business visit. Location near third circle, makes it next to "downtown" area. Room are spacious, room conditioners are working fine. Toilet is nicely equipped, though a hair dryer would have been very much appreciated. Downside - Breakfast - you need to make sure that the chef understand your requirement or... More

The rooms were nice and well maintained. The breakfast was mediocre – no fruit of any kind unless you count Tang, which I do not. But this place has two main problems for a non-smoker who likes a quiet room – the place is full of cigarette smoke, and because it houses a night club, music blares into the wee... More

I went there twice this year, and I really appreciate my standing there. Located in a secured area but sometimes difficult for taximan to find Receptionnists are nice. Rooms are wonderful and comfortable. Breakfast is also nice : a large choice of foods. Mitigant point : noise if you are in a room below the 4th floor due to the... More

The hotel was recommended by a friend who stayed here years ago. When I stayed there last year, it's still nice, the room was clean, and I love the bathroom too. The owner and staff were nice. It's located on a quiet street near a hospital and a nice park. There's a bar at night on the first floor. Haven't... More

The Hisham is quite an institution in Amman, small and very well run. It is located in the diplomatic area, not in the area where there is nightlife, tho it has a small bar in a lovely garden. There are a a few very nice (but relatively expensive) restaurants around it. We liked it because of its size and also... More

I stayed here before several years ago, when it was a pleasant, friendly hotel. Now it is terrible. It was as if they hadn't cleaned since my last stay - my room and bathroom smelt disgusting I believe due to mould and drains. When I complained a man came and sprayed some air freshener. In the end I had to... More
