The hotel is definitely quite old and also slightly away from the main city. The furnishing and the overall look of the rooms is ancient. The breakfast is minimal ... not a recommendable hotel. The helpful staff was the only positive thing about the hotel.

I stayed there overnight on the 25th of October with a group, the front office staff were very helpful , professional and willing to help. The rooms were not very tidy and you get the feeling of being in deserted old hotel. Bathrooms were not very clean as well. The two meals we had was okay in terms of the... More

Both of us were tired after a long air journey by the time we checked in at Al Fanar Palace. But soon we forgot our tiresome trip and our sleepless previous night. From the reception to the bell boys it was a smooth transfer to an eventful evening. The dinner was great and we had a long 9 hour sleep .... More

The hotel has a very pleasant staff and that counts for a lot. The bed was comfortable. But like many places we saw in Jordan, the rooms are dated and just barely clean. The shower has a curtain that blows against your body while you shower. The elevators were broken on one day of our stay. The breakfast is barely... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of an organised tour. The hotel is clean which is the most important thing. There is internet in the room which is nice. Breakfast is very poor, and it is not very close to the center. But in general, its an ok choice. Some staff were very nice.

The hotel was a transit rest place before going to Palestine. To refresh from long travel from Mauritius via Dubai to Jordan. We stayed two nights. After first night we went to visit Ashaab ul Kahaf and the Dead Sea. After second night we departed to Jerusalem early in the morning. After return from Jerusalem we stayed one additional night... We spent two nights at the Al-Fanar Palace hotel. The biggest drawbacks, in my mind, are the distance to central Amman and the staggeringly busy road at the entrance. Our room was large, with a very comfortable, enormous bed, plus TV and bar-fridge. The bathroom was not luxurious, but quite acceptable. That said, we had all the amenities we needed,... More

Worst hotel in my life. I will try to be subjective but quite honestly this is a horrible place: 1- No Internet in the rooms, they kept promising to fix it. 2- Internet is awful in the lobby. 3- Food is the worst ever, I was there on full board and did not eat but three meals in the whole... More

Please never stay at this hotel. Everything is so dirty that I have not seen something so unclean before. The restaurant is like a school mess and the food is similar days after days, terrible service. The reception does not care about anyone. There is marriage everyday of my stay around 12 days. Its so loud that you cannot even... More
