This was my worst hotel experience ever I totally hate it the room was very small and very old the toilet was small and the lighting wasn't enough and the water wasn't enough too , the location is fine but overall I hate it I couldn't sleep that night . 👎👎

Stayed at Gondola for my first trip to Amman, alone (26 year old female from UK) for a couple of nights and my female friend who joined me for holiday. Received great service from the staff, who found me a room straight away when I returned to Amman a week or so later and had no booking. The location feels... More

Situated walking distance from the 5th Circle, with HSBC bank, mini-supermarkets, pharmacies , Whispers, and other amenities around. Its a warm, almost boutique hotel, with neoclassical design, very homey, suited for the business traveler, with large room, kitchenette, ironing board, iron, flat screen TV. Wifi was a problem (on and off) while i was there, but wifi was iffy throughout... More

My 3rd trip to Amman took me to the Gondola Hotel again. The first stay was good and within our budget so we decided to book a suite there again. The original booking was done on the internet where they wanted a credit card to hold the room, but they said we would not be charged until we checked in.... More

I booked this hotel on the internet. It was clean and quiet and really not too far from places I needed to go. Taxi fares were very reasonable to places like the City Mall and Mecca Mall ( they were too far to walk to ). It's an older hotel with regular keys instead of key cards and when you... More

We started off on the wrong foot with Gondola. The week before our departure to Amman they mailed us ‘your creditcard is blocked so we cancelled your booking.’ So you cancel three nights just like that, without further communication? Weird. There was no problem with the creditcard at all, but it took us various (unanswered) mails and then phonecalls to... More

We stayed at the Gondola twice while in Jordan: once upon arrival for two days and one night just before we left for Egypt. Both times we were completely satisfied. The suite was clean and comfortable and the staff went out of their way to help us. They always gave us good information when we needed directions, advice for shopping,... More

Booked this as a first solo visit to the Middle East. This is a great hotel and a bargain for what you get. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated but the staff will do anything to make your stay pleasant and the rate is one of the cheapest around. Make sure you get 'Majed' the driver at the hotel... More

We stayed for 2 nights and we had no bad surprises about our reservation. The room was spacious and with a kitchen (which we didn't use). The furniture was old but everthing was very clean. We had breakfast the first day. It was very basic (no coffee except Nescafe) but there was nothing else around. Four JD per person. If... More
