I had a very good experience staying at Al Waleed (especially that it holds my name). Lovely and extremely helpful staff! Smart and helpful when it came to finding me a SIM on Friday Night. Great location in vicinity to shopping malls but as well lots of nice shops around. Quiet location. Very close to highway to get into...I found... More

We had a very good experience staying there. Lovely and extremely helpful staff! Smart and helpful when it came to difficulties with check-in i.e.. Great location in vicinity to western style shopping malls but as well lots of nice shops around. No mosque in vicinity and quiet location. Very close to highway to get into Amman and abouts. Decent rooms... More

Awful room with cracked hand basin, broken toilet seat and broken shower tiles. They did give us a much better room when we complained but still the place was tired, dark and depressing. Breakfast was typically arabic and not very good at all. I would not recommend staying here.

Stayed for two nights in a quiet but not very light room, there was only one window that faced an internal shaft that let in little light. The room was tidy and the bedding clean but the place in general would benefit from a little TLC. The breakfast was more than adequate but tended towards the Arabic style which is... More

I recently stayed here for 4 days during the orientation period of my study abroad program. The program arranged and paid for the stay, so I can't comment on the value, but in terms of service, room quality, meals, and facilities, this hotel is quite nice. I got the impression that the typical guests tend to be more of the... More

I have stayed 3 or 4 times on business trips because the hotel is very conveniently located for some of my regular meetings and on one of the rare pedestrian/walkable streets in Amman with restaurants and shops. The hotel is decent and clean. Rooms vary a lot between one another: I have stayed in small, dark and almost windowless rooms... More

The staff was very kind and helpful. The resturant is not good with poor furniture The room has an interior window and doesn't have any external view. There was some garbage out the window and the window lock was not working. I had to use a sticker to keep it closed.

We arrived and checked in at this hotel about 10pm, all of us were very tired. We booked a room (a suite like) so it can fit a double bed and a single bed, giving a bit privacy for each other. However, the receptionist gave us a double bed room and squeezed a single bed in. We later found out... More

About this Hotel, there is no reason to say something like 'don't ever stay there.' If you just need a sedate enough place for a short stay, the Rum Waleed is ok. There is good free wifi in room and cambio, and commerical area and plenty restaurant options right outside the door. Including some for breakfast, which you will need... More

Upon our arrival in Jordan, we were booked into the The Larsa Hotel for 2 nights we forgot to extend our stay and were given the option to book with their sister hotel The Al Waleed hotel. Thankfully so as the Larsa hotel was situated just outside 8th circle and located no where close to any amenities. The Al Waleed... More
