Kind staff and good food- both at the lobby-bar and breakfast dinning-room. Missing things- a skirt and earrings- we noticed they were missing upon our return home; so we didn't claim them. Wondering why they were moved from were we placed in the room! No hot water for showers- First day we were "ignorant" we didn't expect that there is... More

This hotel faces King Hussein highway, one of the busiest of the city. Therefore, if your room is facing the highway or the sides then your room will be noisy. If your room faces away from the highway then your room is quiet since there is only an abandoned building present. The condition of the room is dire. Behind the... More

Simply put, this Hotel is over priced. It doesn't have internet that works, it has staff that argues with you and talks about the guests. They treat people poorly. The breakfast is good enough but the taxes and surcharges are outrageous - they say the internet is free but if you charge some crazy surcharge you really didnt offer free... More

We were quite disappointed with this hotel. It does have a good location for sightseeing in Amman, but that's where the positives end. The TV remote control in our room had some buttons missing and the battery cover was also gone. That wouldn't be much of the problem if all other things did not occur also. TV itself was the... More

Bar scene, under the sky on the roof top located on 18th floor. Open space beautiful set up combining water, glass, fire flames and alleviated DJ booth. Nice music in the back ground both commercial and house . Service very slow and drink mixes should be much better..food not good You can go semi formal. they close in winter...

There are hotels which are old, and they are called heritage properties. Then there are hotels, which are really old, where the management starts partial renovation and keeps the room rates highly competitive to attract guests. Then there is The Regency Palace Hotel in Amman. It is not my intent to defame this hotel, however; with rooms where water gets... More

In a pilgrimage party of 27 we were welcomed en bloc, none of our party had real problems with their rooms. Buffet style meals ranged from exceptional to adequate depending on the crowds forming the scrum around the food. Some parties or groups staying descended as a team to the food troughs and behaved badly and greedily, but more often... More
