We travelled to Jordan in January 2015 for a short break. I had booked five star and we were taken to the Regency Palace. It was terrible from start to finish. Poor and arrogant service. A small and very tired room that had blocked sinks from previous occupants cigarettes. Our luggage was lost in the hotel and arrived 3 hours... More

Stayed for one night stopover. Room was comfortable, nice view of the city from bedroom, buffet dinner was great. Nice pool! Only complaint is that the room smelt of cigarette smoke, and the air-conditioner unit made a loud rattling sound, so had to sleep with the window open.

This hotel located is appr. 5 km from the historic centre and 30 km from the airport. The service team is helpfull and very honest. The summery impression is good. The breakfeast is abundant with local colorite as well as the evening buffet. The rooms are large and bright, but the furniture is a little worn out, the bathroom is... More

I am about to start research on what 5 stars for a hotel, actually means; to date I have assumed a 5 star hotel means, 5 star service; facilities; comfort; confidence; quality - the linen was not just tired it was old and it smelt like mould. The bathrooms were from the 50's and were dirty, the sink was blocked... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were large, well-appointed,clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very good. I found the staff generally friendly and helpful. The gym is great, large, lots of light, different cardio and weight machines to choose from and of good quality. It is at the top level and has a great view.

My wife and I stayed one night earlier this month whilst on a McCabe's pilgrimage in transit from southern Jordan (Petra) to Galilee in Israel. Hotel is a tower block in central Amman. Room (on 17th floor) was excellent and spacious although it took three attempts to get our key cards to work and I had to get the main... More

Hotel lobby looks elegant. Free bottled waters were provided in the room as welcome drinks. Even provided a weather forecast. Wide variety of food choices for buffet breakfast and dinner. They charge for bottled water for dinner, but for breakfast it's for free. One elevator won't stop on the 14th floor. Good wifi connection.

The hotel has a comfy feel upon arrival. The staff were very helpful with our luggages. A lot of food choices for the buffet breakfast and dinner. Water and soda are sold during dinner and are expensive. Water is free only during breakfast. Internet connection is available all throughout the hotel and is for free. The evening before we left...
