Executive Summary: Skip this joint and go next door to the Regency. Had we not been here with a group, and just for the night, I would have walked straight out when I saw the room and gone somewhere else. We almost did that anyway when we walked next door to the Regency to eat at Trader Vic's, but for... More

This hotel is a four star place in the neighborhood of many other big hotels (Marriot, Le Meridien etc) so one would expect certain services to be provided in the area. However, the major problem in there is that the choice of restaurants, cafes, food courts, food shops within the walking distance is very limited indeed. One has to know... More

I guess they changed the name Its now know as the Golden Tulip Grand Palace. They have a nice place, I was with a group of 25 and we checked in late as our flight was delayed. Staff at the front desk looked tired and stressed out. They looked like they dint care. They stop replenishing the food like 30... More

Classic tourist hotel. Most of things are correct, and some remarkable, like the size pf some of the rooms.but two of the days we spent there, there was just one towel. Then, as usual, I take out a star for the costly wifi. It amazes me that such a basic service is a ripoff in some hotels, most of them... More

This hotel is now called the Golden Tulip Grand Palace. It is connected to the Regency Palace and Trader Vic's Restaurant. The Grand Palace is older and needs updating. Rooms were clean and ours was very large. Hallways are dark and drab. Front desk staff appeared stressed and not particularly friendly. Breakfast buffet was minimal at best. It was to... More

I did not enjoy this stay. Despite being tired, it was hard to sleep...I know the gentleman and his mistress next door also got very little sleep. Needless to say, there was a lot of prostitution going on, and I know this might be normal for the area, but they need to learn how to keep it low key for... More

This is a decent business - budget hotel and should serve the purpose for a short 2-3 day trip. The location is good and easy to find taxis. Make sure you negotiate with the taxi driver. The breakfast and dinner was adequate. Breakfast had a wide variety though most of it was bland. The service overall was slow but they... More

I agree that this is more like a 3 star hotel but only because it needs a bit of updating - it's looking a bit tired but our room was more than large enough with a very comfortable and large bed. It was clean and air conditioned and although we faced the road, we weren't disturbed at all. Location wise... More

Hotel is quite old! Location is good. Breakfast and dinner were average. But what really bothered us was the fact they charge 15 US dollars for a 24 hours internet usage, and once you log into one device you cannot log off and use the password in another device! Very disapointing
