We accept that as the weather wasn't great this might have coloured our experience abit. However, despite the hotel being far from full they seemed to go out of their way to put us in a room as far away as possible from any amenities, and as close as possible to traffic going into the neighbouring hotel .... maybe because... more

What a fantastic way to end our trip through Jordan! Friendly staff, tasy meals, AMAZING views, fantastic room! We enjoyed every moment and was sorry to leave. The design of the resort is beautiful and romantic and our room was very comfortable, especially after roughing it in Wadi Rum for 2 days! Will certainly be back if we can! more

Spacious and enjoyable for children; Beautfil sunset across the Dead Sea - so be sure to pay for upgrade to Dead Sea view rooms in Zara main building. Excellent food in the Grill but tasteless food in Italian Luigi's. Relaxing and memorable. Take a side trip (less than 1 hour by Hertz for hire car) to King Herod's mountain top... more

I stayed at the Moevenpick for one night as part of a business trip to Amman; two months earlier, I'd stayed at the Kempinski right next door. The Moevenpick is a large and sprawling property, and does have a village-like feel to -- from the main buiidling, the property slopes downhill, ending up at the Dead Sea, with hotel rooms,... more

I stayed at this hotel for only one night in October and wish I could of stayed longer. I arrived at around 1.30 in the afternoon after spending two nights in another Moevenpeck hotel in Aqaba which I thought was excellent. I had a good walk around the hotel and its grounds. It is like a village really, the reception... more

A very good hotel. The staff are excellent, the rooms (go for a beach facing room if possible) are very good, The facilities are everything that one would need or wish for. The breakfast is excellent and the hotel restaurants are otherwise generally very good. The negatives are few but worth mentioning: (i) no free internet - one has to... more

We stayed 5 nights at the Moevenpick Dead Sea in th end of October and although we had a very nice stay, some things were just not up to standard. On the plus side - the layout of the hotel, built like a small village, was very beautiful. - the pools were large and very nice -the lounge area by... more

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our two weeks in Jordan. By far. The grounds and buildings were beautiful, lush and green, and the access to the Dead Sea was convenient and comfortable, and lifeguards on duty to save you if you get Dead Sea Water in your eyes. We had rooms in Viva, a detached living... more

We enjoyed out stay at the Movenpick. Great location with private access to the dead sea directly from the hotel (electric golf carts save you the walk to the water-front restaurant). There are excellent swimming pools and a nice play for children with a nanny service also available. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. The buffet was great... more

We booked this hotel as a treat. Knowing that in the Dead Sea area we would be a 'captive audience' wherever we stayed, splashing out on the best came with both expectations and anxiety! I have to say that our expectations were met and anxieties - such as those of exorbitant prices - were not met. The beach area is... more
