After the "5 star" expereince at Intercontinental in Aqaba - what a difference at Mövenpick. Large beach room with a terrase and fantastic view, super well trained staff and everyone seemed determined to make the stay pleasant. We stayed here after the Movenpick Aqaba and, for me, I just didn't like this hotel at all. The worst and most off-putting thing was the flies - they were everywhere! I stayed with my wife at the Movenpick Dead Sea early October for 5 nights. The welcome was amazing, the entire experience is something. Breakast is with a wide veriety of items i would recoomend it to all. The hotel is so big that you can spend a week going to a different pool and area on a daily basis.... more

Simply not to miss when going to the Dead Sea. The place to be. We loved the SPA, the DJ session in the evening and the wonderful village architecture. Staff all very friendly and helpful. more

We stayed there for 3 nights / 4 days in Sept 09. we booked a standard double and were upgraded to a standard sea-view double. the only difference is that the sea-view rooms don't look over the car park and the dual carriage, be warned to ensure you get a sea view room.
