The hotel is somewhat old but don't let that deter you. It is well maintained, rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the service is almost universally friendly (I have seen other reviews about variable service but haven't faced that myself, having stayed here over a half-dozen times in the past 2-3 years). The restaurants serve fairly... More

It might not be as new as the Millenium, but it has much better service. In fact everyone was polite and helpful. Check-in and check-out were lightning fast. The spacious rooms are very convenient for after office work back at the hotel. Breakfast was also very good. Surprisingly the souvenir shop was also very good with helpful staff (more choices... I've stayed here eight times so far on business trips to Jordan and always seem to get varied levels of service. Most of the time it's very reasonable though I certainly wouldn't match it against other top hotels I've stayed in. Staff are, for the most part, good and fluent in English. My company always includes three meals a day... More

Sadly, Amman doesn't offer a great variety of hotels. Spending $100 a night won't get you a clean hotel. Le Meridien was a great choice, maybe old, but clean and stylish. Service was good .. staff in general were polite and helpful. The price is still cheeper than the other 5 stars around. The breakfast offers excellent variety. The pool... More

Stayed in March 2013, the night I arrived in Amman and the night before I departed. The first night I was allocated a room overlooking the main road. It was spacious with good facilities and to my surprise contained UK three pin sockets. The last night I was allocated a room overlooking the car park which was similar to the... More

Arriving at Le Meridien has a slightly chaotic feel due to limited space outside but staff our certainly attentive and get you into the hotel quickly which is great with the heat of Jordan. Checking was a slow process and took nearly 10 minutes, it's a manual process and there appeared to be limited staff. The Taxi ride was 23JD... More

I had settled into the Sheraton Amman as my favorite hotel here (I have them also reviewed), but Le Meridian has caused me to shift loyalty! (Sorry, Sheraton ... at least it is still Starwood.) To be upfront, if most things are equal, I go for the better gym. While Sheraton's is nice and covers the basics in cardio, weight... More

The public areas of the building are clean and lovely, and the gym and spa adequately outfitted. Observance of non-smoking designations are lax by staff and guests; non-smoking rooms are suffused with second-hand smoke, and the lobby (and other public areas) are all smoke-friendly. As an asthmatic, this was a real challenge as all my clothes smelled of smoke after... More

This was probably my third stay at this hotel. The lobby is huge and with high cielings. The rooms are also fairly large and spacious with large bathrooms. They are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is an older hotel, but it's fairly well maintained. A great selection and variety of restaurants await you downstairs. The Arabic restaurant is well... More

What an experience! If you are planning to go to the Le Meridien Amman steak restaurant #282. Don;'t go! First impression, when you arrive at the main hotel entrance, the security are impolite, the men have their shirts and neck ties loose. No greeting, no welcome, not 5 star. Arrive at the Steak restaurant lounge. Make sure you have medical... More
