This is a beautifully located and well managed hotel. We visited during the world economic forum and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of its facilities and the friendliness of the staff. The concierge services were efficient and we enjoyed their spacious and clean rooms. You must try their Meridian Signature breafakfast - a real treat. In case you like... more

The room was very spacious, clean, and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large. The hotel seemed to be located in the business district, so there wasn't much going on nearby in terms of nightlife. The windows were thin, so I could hear cars driving by all night. I ended up wearing ear plugs to bed. When... more

One of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. My room was on the 6th floor, no hint of smoke, very clean. The staff members were very attentive but not overly attentive. There were 5 restaurants. The food was excellent as was the room service. The location is not in a very "walkable" area but is close to a major... more

This hotel is unsafe, while I was tanning on the pool, which was relatively empty, a young guy took all his clothes off and started taking pictures of me on his mobile. There was no security around, the harassor was not a guest at a hotel, just a walk by who happened to be passing the hotel and no one... more

I have stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions (Nov/08 and Apr/09) and noticed a decline in service on my second stay there. Pros: - Quick and friendly room service - reasonably priced food. - Housekeeping friendly and efficient. - Rooms are nice - particularly those in the North Tower (I believe you pay more for those ones -... more

My family and I stayed here for one night before heading south to tour Petra. We all used starwood points for our stay, and it was definitely a steal for 2,000 points per night. Everything looked brand new- huge marble bathrooms, great views, large modern rooms. We very much enjoyed our short stay at Le Meridien Amman. I hope to... more

A delightful, well staffed hotel. I was part of a small tour group and was very pleasantly surprised at the luxury and amenities provided by Le Meridien. W/r to the omelet; my first morning; we had been traveling the entire previous day; I went down for breakfast and approached the omelet bar. The preparer asked me what I wanted in... more

Well as a Starwood Gold Card holder I am used to the various hotels in the chain and found this one to be seriously lacking. We requested to be collected from the airport and confirmed this via emails, but on the day there was no-one there. After waiting for 20 minutes we called the hotel who said they would find... more

We pressed for this hotel in preference to the higher-priced Kempinski in Amman (which three tour companies offered us) because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor, and are very glad we did so. Our room was attractive, well-furnished and comfortable, although the lamps did not give enough light to read by. The bathroom was fine - if a little tired.... more
