hotel reception is very plush service is ok however whilst there the weather was hot and sunny no air conditioning was on so hotel airless and very smokey. We visited outside pool areas to find it out of operation with no seating to even enjoy the weather. We did ask at reception which eventually supplied five loungers for us to... more

we arrived here on a tour of jordan looking like a bag of rags. When you enter the hotel the lobby is really swanky, it has just been renovated and it is very nice, so we felt a bit underdressed. But the staff were not at all standoffish and were extremely helpful and courteous. In fact the service in this... more

Located in the richer part of Amman, far away from the city center. Good food, good service, nice rooms. more

I have to admit that the entrance, lobby and lounge area have improved compared to a couple of months ago, but the rooms, quality of food and hospitality still require a lot of attention in this hotel. I checked in with my husband who speaks Arabic, and they completely ignored me. I didn't get a warm welcome word or an... more

Like other reviewers we stayed as an upgraded hotel with Voyages Jules Verne and for that purpose it was quite adequate. It was, however undergoing a considerable amount of reconstruction with the main entrance closed and access to breakfast and the Italian restaurant being through a corridor through the back offices. They seem to be making quite a meal of... more

As others have all siad this is really a business persons hotel. The renovation made it all very difficult. We were lucky and had a good breakfast. We also ate in the Lebanese restaurant on the very top floor and the food was Ok. the best bit was that the waiter looked and acted like Basil Fawlty in Fawlty Towers.... more

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Grand Tour of Jordan booked through Voyages Jules Verne. It is mainly a business hotel set in a residential/business area. There are some burger type places if you turn right out of the hotel but I walked for a good hour and a half and couldn't find anywhere decent to... more

This hotel is the upgraded one for Jules Verne Discover Jordan. The room was very large, comfortable, quiet, (air con fairly quiet) and had nice bathroom, hospitality tray.Like other reviewers we did find it a bit smoky even with the window open. There are 2 large skyscrapers being erected overlooking the hotel but the double glazing kept noise out. As... more

A city hotel that could have been anywhere in the world, with all the usual fittings you associate with this hotel group, even carpets and pictures! The Al-Halabi restaurant on the top floor was excellent, serving Syrian food, and had extensive views over the city. There were lots of local people in there, not just tourists - a very good... more

we stayed 3 nights in this excellent accomodation in west Amman. its a 4* hotel, although some rooms are not quite up to this standard. We really dislike the rooms with connecting doors we find the inevitable smoking next door to be really intrusive. but the front desk was quickly able to upgrade us. Our new room was both clean... more
