Cliff couldn't be better located, right in the heart of downtown with plenty of good, cheap restaurants nearby and the famous Hashem directly opposite. It's walking distance to the citadel and the forum. Inside, it's good value for what you pay- it's basic but everything is clean and it's very cheap so I didn't mind that the plug socket in... More

So first off this hotel is in the wrong catagory. It is a hostel not a B&B. Also I am reviewing this place as a budget hotel. If you are not a budget traveler then this spot may not meet your needs. It's very basic and provides nothing besides the room and / or bed. No towels, toilett paper (there... More

The price is great for what you get. The dorm rooms are a good size, and the lounge sociable. Many of their tours are cheaper than using public transport and they will help find others to join you so you get the best price. The nice old men who work there are very helpful and well humored. They went out... More

The hotel is in downtown so very good location with a very convenient price. I personally stayed in a dormitory but private rooms are also available. It is close to the main things to visit in Amman like the roman theatre, citadel and the market. Moreover it's just opposite the famous Hashem restaurant where with so few money you can... More

We're midday through our second stay (May 23-24, 2014 and June 4 - 10, 2014) at the Cliff Hotel. The Hotel is located downtown within walking distance to the Citadel, Roman Amphitheater, Fruit/Vegetable Souq, Hashem Restaurant, Rainbow Street..... The owners/managers are very friendly and helpful. Don't be put off but the outside appearance and cleanliness of the stairwell into the... More

Cliff hotel is an incredibly friendly budget hotel in the centre of downtown Amman. I stayed there when backpacking through the Middle East and its the best hostel I found. It's cheap, clean and the staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. It's in an excellent location, close to restaurants and cafés. The wifi is good there too. I would highly... More

This hostel is in the heart of Ammann, with many food places (try Hashem restaurant opposite for a falafal platter) and shops around. A bit difficult to find in a side street surrounded by shops, but the locals around are very helpful. Although the house is quite old, the rooms and bathrooms were clean, the bed comfortable and the common... More

Cliff Hotel couldn't be more central. The location is great and the staff very friendly and helpful. The 4 dorm was cheap and the showers and toilets always clean. The only negative point for me was the smoke inside the Hotel. When I first came in at midnight the room around the reception was filled with smoke. Wouldn't it have... More

Excellent value for money, good location, staff. Andrew's very helpful, plenty of eating options around, Hashem Restaurant and Al Quds. Had a good stay. Didn't like the staircase which led up, but rest everything makes up for it.

I stayed for 9 nights at the Cliff Hotel in Amman and it was by far my favorite hotel in Jordan. We used it as a base to visit all the surrounding area, including Jerash, Ajloun, Madaba and the Dead Sea. The staff at the front desk are very friendly, especially Andrew who always gave us the best tips to... More
