Stayed here first night in Jordan and the guys here were amazing, really helpful and friendly. the rooms are not 5 star but you don't expect it paying 10JD a night, the beds are fine for a couple of nights and there is hot water. Close walk to ruins and the local restaraunt across the road is great for dinner... More

Great place to stay when you first arrive in Jordan because the staff here welcome you with open arms and treat you so well you will immediately love Jordan. They provided a cheap transportation to visit the Dead Sea the day we arrived, 10 JD per person. The rooms were not amazing but we expected that as we only paid... More

The owners here were great and helpful, writing Arabic translations for most things I needed and places I needed to visit. The room was simple but clean and tidy. It was the cheapest room I could find in Amman but would go back again no problem. It had internet wifi at certain times of the day for free. My favourite... More

Like others stated, this is a budget hostel. Amman hotels are generally overpriced and kind of run down, so we decided to go with Cliff Hotel due to the price. The hotel isn't dirty, it's just run down. That being said, I found the bedrooms and bathrooms clean, and the owner, Andrew, is so kind and so helpful. He showed... More

What makes this place truly great are the two hosts Andrew and Faoud. They are just awesome, very friendly and helpful. Their first priority is to make their guests happy and make their stay enjoyable and affordable. Cleanliness is not the best, but I found it really okay. And there was a pleasant surprise: sinks in most rooms, which is... More

The Cliff Hotel was a great place to stay on my tightly budgeted trip to Jordan. Though a more high-maintenance person could certainly find things to complain about (no toilet paper, cold rooms (we were there in the winter, the buildings are more equipped to handle the summer heat than the winter cold) , less-than-desirable showers), I thought that the... Cliff hotel is a budget backpacker style hostel where young people tend to stay. It is centrally located with easy access to the main places of interest, the famous Hashem Restaurant is just accross the street. The hostel owner is a great guy offering help to all the guests. He helped us arrange a minivan to airport at 30JOD. He... More

The Cliff Hotel is a budget backpacker hostel located in downtown Amman. The building itself is fairly dilapidated and in need of repair and renovation. The beds are in need of replacement too. The rooms, or at least the three we stayed in were basic but clean. We stayed in the Cliff during Ramadan and found it hard to sleep... More

cheap place to stay a night or so, shared bathrooms with too many people, so take some sanitizers, hand towels, soap... etc. you can't receive anyone in your room, no visitors allowed in your room, but you can stay in the lobby , which is 3 x 4 m, with other people smoking and talking loudly with the tv on.... Cliff hotel is open and very welcoming to its guests. The manager of the place is a very good man who cares for every person who stays there. You can be sure that you pay just for real things and no 'extras'. I would strongly recommend the place for those who doesn't want to waste money on frills and commissions.... More
