I was so lucky to having stayed at the Amman pasha hotel. For a solo traveler it is the ideal place in the ideal location the tour desk organized shared day trips to, Jerash, ajlon castle, umqais, dead sea, nebo, madaba. Petra and wadi rum I shared a camp too. I enjoyed the country without spending a heap. The service... More

I stayed at Amman Pasha hotel for about 4 nights this month. The location is excellent, the restaurant serves some great affordable meals, the hotel itself has an authentic and quaint feeling BUT the tour staff are total con artists. They are aggressive, pushy salesman that will even interrupt a meal to make a sale. They even tried to charge... More

Our visit started badly with air conditioning that didn't work but it was all uphill from there. We moved to another room with a prime view of the roman amphitheatre which is right across the road. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom, and overall it was excellent value for money. The owner Raymond is a character... More

Hotel is situated in downtown, very close to Roman theater. Single room was clean, with AC. Bathroom was ok. Internet is unfortunately only on the ground floor but it was working. Restaurant was sometimes a little bit noisy. The staff was very friendly and offered a lot of opportunities for sightseeing and entertainment. On the boards you can read many... More

good hotel, very good hospitality, slow internet but the good thing is it is free and available. place is brilliant near city center, traditional shops are near without car. the bath room is very small and was the worst thing in the room. the room itself is suitable size and comfortable.

I stayed here on my honeymoon in 2008. I booked it after finding it from a Fodor's review. It was clean, cheap, had a good buffet, and was close to the bus station (we only came through Amman to get to Petra). I found the service to be very friendly and was happy with this hotel. I would recommend it... More

Amman itself has little to offer, but you should stop over for your first day to get ready. Get sim cards, exchange USD at better rates , car rentals etc. Amman Pasha is ideally located to do all of the above, in the heart of downtown Amman , bang opposite the Roman Amphitheater. It's a quirky hotel , with characters... More

Decent hotel in a really great location. Rooms are basic, clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was excellent. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Pity about the tourist operators that have a desk at the reception (the only place where WIFI works well) who do NOT STOP with the hustle and the constant attempt at up-selling. We could not sit at... More

No complaints here at all about this hotel: Staff - Everyone was very nice and helpful. They have a driver on site for well priced airport pick ups/drop offs, tours, and getting around. They can arrange everything and they can do it price conscientiously. Location - Great base for exploring the city center of Amman. Across from the Roman Theater,... More
