Everything you can expect from a Marriott: clean, nice views, good and friendly service. Nothing really outstanding but a good place to stay in Amman. Restaurants are not the best, particularly if you look for a nice Middle East cuisine and mezze. There are several good place within 10 minutes taxi drive. Ask the taxi drivers. They are very nice... The hotel itself is in a pretty poor condition- the rooms are dark and dingy and are in real need of maintenance. For example, the showers were either cold or v hot and therefore unpredictable. The hotel didn't provide any soap and gave you the tiniest towels. The air con was also tempramental which was an issue as we visited... More

A good budget hotel in the middle of the city. Small toilets in the rooms. No mirror to shave but there is a big mirror in the room. Sharing wash-rooms have mirrors but way up, you must be very tall to shave! Staff clean whole area very nicely. Breakfast average but give fresh coffee! Good WIFI. They switch off some... More

In case you are looking for a place right downtown in Amman, don't look further. Jordan Tower is the right place to start. Excellent location to explore the surrounding by foot, very good value for money and very helpful staff. Definitely recommendable.

Having arrived at the airport after midnight, I was met by my airport transfer driver who told me we had to wait for another passenger - great!! I was only going to pay half the fare! I arrived at the hostel at about 2:30am and was immediately asked by reception if I was interested in the Dead Sea tour they... More

After a night at the Arab Tower (also reviewed), we read that the Jordan Tower was better, so on our return we decided to stay there. Although there was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, we didn't feel that it was worth the extra expense compared with the Arab Tower. The main drawback was that reception was on the first... Thanks for taking the time to review our hotel. Invariably our prices are the same as the other hotel you mentioned so I'm not sure if you are referring to the 3% charge for use of credit cards.. if so.. please understand WE do not make that charge. This is a charge made by the credit card company to us... More

We stayed in the private room and we were very please with the cleanliness and the service the hotel provided. The breakfast was delicious - there was three choices with refills of tea/coffee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom is a bit small and it took time to dry the floor after shower but there was hot water with... More

So... it's really a hostel, not a hotel. Realized that the minute we checked in. We were traveling on a budget, but we were looking for a hotel, so it was definitely much more humble than we were anticipating. We had a private triple room with a bathroom, which I guess was clean enough, but very bare bones, with old... More

Thanks for taking the time to review your stay at our hotel. Reading some of the comments, I am wondering if you actually stayed at our hotel - as we do not have any construction site opposite our hotel. Moreover, we completely renovated all the rooms with new beds, sheets, cover, curtains, decor etc. so your comment regarding threadbare linens... More

Great location, easily walkable to main city sights and markets. The main guy who sat at reception appeared to be there 24/7 and was very helpful. He organised our day tours, airport transfers, rental car and even sent our postcards for us. All the rest of the staff were very helpful, friendly and seemed to do everything from serve us... More

I usually stay in premium hotel room with my family but its my budget trip with my friend. Please consider it when you read my review: 1) Services is excellent and the owner is very friendly. We rented a car from a car agency (see my other review) but the agent was late by almost 2 hours. We were so... More
