We booked a Female only 4 bedroom only to arrive and find to our shock that the "hotel" had no such thing as a 4 bedroom and they only had dormitories!! and since we had arrived pretty late we had no choice but to stick with it. Their excuse was that some of the booking sites had not updated their... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review about Jordan Tower. Say Whaat! is correct - you booked a 4 bedded female whaaaaaat? As we don't have such a listing.... The only female "whaaat" which we have is a female only dormitory. Now if you hadn't booked that then you wouldn't have been shown to that room. We don't... More

Location-wise, I have no complaints at all. A few steps from the Roman Theater and downtown shops and restaurants. The hotel is also walking distance to Rainbow Street (for fancier restaurants and cafes/bars). The rooms are overpriced in my opinion. While our room was clean, the bathroom was so small and did not have any provision for hanging towels/clothes. The... More

The hostel is very clean, has a beautiful rooftop terace... Location is questionable.. It is in the old town..It was close to the roman theatre nad the Citadel, but if u like to soak up the atmosphere of the city, its cafes and restaurants, not only the souvenir shops around, I would recommend the "new" western part of Amman

If you want to stay in bustling downtown Amman this is the place to be. The owner is a knowledgeable man who can arrange anything from a taxi to full day excursion around the country. We had an nice, small but clean double room. The bathroom is very small but it has everything you need.

Everything you can expect from a Marriott: clean, nice views, good and friendly service. Nothing really outstanding but a good place to stay in Amman. Restaurants are not the best, particularly if you look for a nice Middle East cuisine and mezze. There are several good place within 10 minutes taxi drive. Ask the taxi drivers. They are very nice... The hotel itself is in a pretty poor condition- the rooms are dark and dingy and are in real need of maintenance. For example, the showers were either cold or v hot and therefore unpredictable. The hotel didn't provide any soap and gave you the tiniest towels. The air con was also tempramental which was an issue as we visited... More

Thanks for taking the time to post your review. We appreciate the positive remarks regarding your stay here - as for the negative, I woud just like to say, things like small towel, missing soap can easily be rectified if you pop down and have a word with the reception manager. We are always willing to oblige. Plus many people... More

A good budget hotel in the middle of the city. Small toilets in the rooms. No mirror to shave but there is a big mirror in the room. Sharing wash-rooms have mirrors but way up, you must be very tall to shave! Staff clean whole area very nicely. Breakfast average but give fresh coffee! Good WIFI. They switch off some... More

In case you are looking for a place right downtown in Amman, don't look further. Jordan Tower is the right place to start. Excellent location to explore the surrounding by foot, very good value for money and very helpful staff. Definitely recommendable.

Having arrived at the airport after midnight, I was met by my airport transfer driver who told me we had to wait for another passenger - great!! I was only going to pay half the fare! I arrived at the hostel at about 2:30am and was immediately asked by reception if I was interested in the Dead Sea tour they... More

After a night at the Arab Tower (also reviewed), we read that the Jordan Tower was better, so on our return we decided to stay there. Although there was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, we didn't feel that it was worth the extra expense compared with the Arab Tower. The main drawback was that reception was on the first... Thanks for taking the time to review our hotel. Invariably our prices are the same as the other hotel you mentioned so I'm not sure if you are referring to the 3% charge for use of credit cards.. if so.. please understand WE do not make that charge. This is a charge made by the credit card company to us... More
