Spent a total of 8 nights at this hotel. 5 nights, then we came back after Petra, Jordan, and Eilat to stay for 3 more nights before heading back to USA. Arriving at Ben Guion Tel Aviv airport it was the Sabbath (saturday) so we had to take taxi. The buses don't run on Sabbath. Taxi was 140NIS to hotel.... more

We booked the hotel for 3 nights last week (12, 13 and 14 October). We stayed at the no smoking room # 506 from where we had a small view of the sea and also got a little noisy (not much) coming from the street. The noisy does not bother me since I have much more at home in Sao... more

Receptionist is not very much patient. Our booking was done way ahead and informed the exact time when we will be arriving by local friend. At booking they said no problem. We were there @ 12.30PM and the room they said was not ready and asks us to come back 1 hr later. We went back again @ 1.40 PM,... more

We stayed at the Mercure for 3 nights at the start of our trip to Israel and one night at the end. The staff was helpful but the rooms are noisy. More importantly, we needed to use the fold out sofa bed which kept breaking. We asked that the bed be replaced, they kept fixing it. So we figured it... more

This hotel meets the basic requirements most of the time but does not particularly distinguish itself. The double rooms are ok but do not get a triple or quad room because they use a fold-out couch for the extra bed and it is prone to breaking during the night (this happened multiple times in two different rooms & staff did... more

The Good:- The Mercure is a Business hotel 2 streets away from the beach. Having arrived on a long flight the receptionist was very pleasant and checked me in. The room I stayed in had a view of the beach and was spotlessly clean. Free wireless connection is provided and there is a small fridge in every room - a... more

I stayed here following a disastrous night at the Metropolitan. I was pleasantly surprised having stayed at very average Mercure hotels in europe before. My room was clean, smelled lovely and was not tired in the least. there was an LCD tv (although sound was a bit dodgy) and empty fridge that you could pay for the hotel to fill... more
