The Bell Hotel has a great location just near the beach in Tel Aviv. It is cheaper than most hotels in the area, but its rooms are very basic and a little tired. Ours had a view of someone else's back wall and a tv that was stuck on Fox News. If you're staying for a night or two and... more

After a long flight from Philadelphia (United States), I arrived to the Bell Hotel with my confirmed reservation, and I am told that the hotel could not honored it. The explanation was that a flight was cancelled, and they allowed all passengers on that flight to extend their stay. Nevertheless, the clerk informed me that they made a reservation for... more

Just stayed at The Bell a couple of nights ago. If you're in the market for a cheap no-frill central hotel in Tel Aviv then this hotel just about covers it. The outside is a little tatty but once inside the staff are friendly and the place is clean. I was warned by the receptionist my room was small. Although... more

My fiancee and I decided to go to Israel to have an anniversary of our relations and booked Bell Hotel because she read good reviews in internet about it. We weren't going to stay in a hotel all days long, so, the simpliest Classic Double room was ok for us! The hotel itself wasn't very nice, but ok, would be... more

I am moving to Jerusalem for 2 years, but wanted to stay in Tel Aviv over the Sabbath. I was planning to stay at the Marriott Renaissance for 3 days, but could not stomach the idea of $260/night for just one person to sleep off jet lag. I found the Bell Hotel on TripAdvisor, and then booked on Expedia.ca. This... more

We stayed at this hotel for a week in June. When we arrived we expected a smart, shiny looking hotel, as is shown on the hotel website - which could not be farther from the truth. The hotel is extremely shabby and dirty on the outside, with paint peeling off and is above some very noisy cafes. On the upside,... more

We were there with our teenage daughter and she thoroughly enjoyed being right in the action. Tel Aviv doesn't go to sleep until very late (or should I say very early in the morning), and you are in a wonderful location for the beautiful beach, the tourists and townspeople enjoying their city, and for getting around to other parts of... more
