Unfortunately I have had the misfortune of staying in Avia twice with a year in between. The first time was not great - the second was a nightmare. I really wouldn't know where to start... Hotel - very dirty. Rooms - thilthy. Staff - diabolical. Food - dire. All in all a scary experience for a woman travelling by herself. I know it is near to the airport but it is not worth going there - Tel aviv is not too far. Personally I would rather stay in Gaza... more
