I'd honestly give them more if it weren't for the fact that my bathroom had cockroaches. The personnel I guess were sort of ok, the breakfast buffet was very good, having coffee and tea in your room whenever was great too, room was ok in size for a single, bathroom was far too small - I couldn't fit properly on... I stayed there 2 nights and they were more accommodating than I could have expected. This all took place while Hamas was shooting rockets at Tel Aviv and they appropriately showed everyone the bomb shelter and calmed everyone down. I had a very late flight on the third day and they let me hang out in the lobby all day... More

This small and pleasant hotel on the beach is a good choice for a visit to Telaviv. Upon my arrival I was first of all invited for Coffee and Cake in their pleasant and bright lounge. What I appreciated even more was good classical music quietly played in the background, instead of Rap being blared at top sound level in... More

I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Tel Aviv. Close to beach, restaurants, shops. Very friendly and helpful staff very clean. The lobby is spacious and nicely decorated, the rooms are nicely done. The included breakfast had a nice assortment and the coffees and fresh juices where great. Rooms a bit small but adequate, beds are comfortable. I would stay at... More

I would recommend the Maxim for a stay in Tel Aviv. A short stroll to beach front you are close to excellent restaurants and shops. There is a pleasant roof top for those lovely warm nights. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean. The rooms are a little small but very adequate. Great three start as previous reports better a... More

We spent a lot of time looking for somewhere to stay in Tel Aviv, and there are many options! We were very happy that we ended up at the Maxim. The location is great, right across from the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants. The staff were wonderful, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. The included... More

I spend a lot of time looking for a place to stay for 3 nights in Tel Aviv. All hotels looked shabby and expensive. We do not like big hotels especially during breakfast time. This place was just perfect for us. Rooms are small, it's a fact. But we just slept there. We spent most of the time on the... More

Hey, two blocks from a great Irish bar, 4.7 minute walk to super Italian restaurant, good Mexican restaurant around the corner, one block from shopping street and public transportation, beach within shouting distance. Smack in the center of typical Israeli nightlife. Oh, did I mention clean rooms, excellent service staff, all the small-hotel amenities and towels too fluffy to get... More

Most reviews of the Maxim glow with compliments. We found this hotel to be adequate, but disappointing in a number of ways. Hotels in Tel Aviv are expensive, and the Maxim is less costly than others we have stayed at. Some might say that you get what you pay for. Although we had a “deluxe” room with an ocean view,...
