I'm giving this a 5 star rating. Not because it was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in, but overall it was the best deal I've had for a long time. There's nothing to rave about in terms of decour inside the hotel itself. You get the impression it's been around for a while but it was sufficiently clean.... more

What a way for a single girl to feel at home in Tel Aviv. A wonderful small 5 storey hotel on the beach front with lovely beach & sea views.(& what a beach!) Very conveniently located with everything within walking distance & maybe 30NIS cab fare from the bus/train station. A 120NIS cab fare from Ben Gurion airport(on Saturday with... more

We came here late at night and we were dying to get cleaned up. We were given our key and headed to our room in the extremely cramped elevator. My fiance and I could just barely fit into the elevator with our two suitcases. We got up to our room and it looked decent. I took a nice shower and... more

This hotel has a fabulous location for a decent price. You can walk down to the beach - ask the front desk for a towel. The elevator is small and squished but the rooms are basic, clean with air conditioning. It is very easy to get a cab as the dispatch is next door. Generally the front desk staff is... more

Small hotel just 1 short block from beach. Location was excellent. Easy walk to nite life and shopping. Close to restaurants and very close to beach. Free parking is a bonus. Breakfast was good. Cake and coffee at 5 pm is a nice touch. Rooms are clean and housekeeping was excellent, although they did run out of towels on our... more

I stayed here in June 2007. Can't fault the hotel at all. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are perfectly adequate with the all important air con. All trips and excursions booked through the hotel reception with no fuss at all, and hotel staff more than happy to help and advise on excursions. Location is superb - a stones... more

I stayed at the Maxim in Tel Aviv for a total of 7 days, three when I first arrived in Israel, and 4 days at the end of my stay. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is nice with a hair dryer and great water pressure...something I didn't have in Jerusalem. The breakfast is quite good and at 5:00... more

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights during our honeymoon (first 2 nights and the last night of the trip). Location is top notch - gorgeous beach right across the street. Rooms are small but adequate and we found the rooms on the higher floors to be better. A tip: if you want to avoid twin beds (which are... more

price and location were right, but you get what you pay for. Hotel was clean, and directly across from the beach. Great restaurants near by, and flat walk to Nachlat Benjamin Mkt. However, we had requested rooms with views, and did not get them. We were told the hotel was booked and we couldn't change. However, when my parents room... more

This hotel is cheap and basic. The rooms are simple and the breakfast is nothing more than you need. It is very, very good value for money. It is very conveniently located, the staff are that strangely adorable Israeli mix between blinding rudeness and breathtaking helpfulness, it is very clean and really, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who... more
