I stay at the ADIV whenever i visit Tel Aviv where i find the service friendly, the central location terrific (near the beach, shopping, restaurants, night life and transportation), a full breakfast, clean rooms AND a reasonable price. Its not a 5-star property but its great value for the money. Parking and free internet also. more

I have stayed at the Adiv Hotel for the past five years and love it there. The staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is delicious. I don't understand the complaints. Yes, Tel Aviv is hot and humid in July and August, that's a given. But at the Adiv, if your ac doesn't work, you just call the desk and within minutes there is someone to repair it (or show you where you went wrong...), or they change your room. Dumpy, sad and tired. Elevator from the 40"s, rooms shabby, surly, nearly hostile staff. Stifling heat and humidity, normal Tel Aviv summer weather, but the air conditioning was an obsolete swamp cooler which circulated tepid, humid air at the highest settings, leaving one sticky and miserable. There is a reason that this hotel is hard to find..people should not stay there!! Not only was the property dirty and unattractive, it had a very surly Russian staff that were clearly unhappy in their work.The rooms were small and hot...a/c didn't seem to cool it down....breakfast was best aspect of 2 night travail...I recomend spending more per night... more
