very nice staff; good and plentiful breakfast; We had a room on the third floor with balcony facing west; the room was very clean; the hotel is very close to the sea (2 minutes);the only disadvantage (but I think that's probably the same everywhere in Tel Aviv) was the traffic the traffic in front of the house ;it is even... I got in a day before my school's group, so I was looking for an inexpensive place to crash. Hayarkon 48 was a pleasant find. I had a private room with a large double bed, TV, and balcony. Amazing view of the sunset!!! It exceeds most budget European hotels. It is very centrally located; the hostel is just one block... More

I had a great stay here at the hostel. The staff is amazing, they are there 24 hours so even in the middle of the night they were very helpful, easy going and nice to have a chat with. There is a big kitchen with free breakfast, Tv and couches to chill out and an amzing roof top with view... More

Hayarkon 48 is a dirty, run down hostel with cramped quarters, poor atmosphere and limited electrical outlets. I do not recommend staying at this hostel. The location for Hayarkon 48 is ok. It's a few minutes walk to the beach and is near restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms are cramped! They stuff 3 bunks in a room that clearly... More

Dear Jason Thank you for taking the time and writing this elaborate review. We take our guest's opinions very seriously and try to learn as much as we can from them. In fact, we do agree with some of your complaints, and soon enough, we will start installing sockets and night lights next to all of our dorm beds. Other... More

My husband and I spent 4 unexpected nights at this hostel last week after having travel issue. and a very frightening experience with a taxi driver and awful overpriced hotel near nothing . Luckily found this hostel in DK book . $75 had double private clean room bathroom balcony TV with British news fairly quiet(Airport noise some) and provided eggs... More

I stayed one night in one of their private rooms. It had a private balcony and its own bathroom. Staff were all very friendly. Clean and convenient. Also, when I booked they were quick with email responses and very helpful (Yael). Definitely recommend it!

The place is clean, well organised, open 24 hours/day, with free wifi, close to everything (beach, market, buses, pubs...), the workers are always trying to help you when you need something, there is some animation (but not too much too) and bike to rent if front of the street, so for me this a perfect address to stay in Tel-Aviv.

Given that Tel Aviv is so expensive this hostel is good value for money. The bed was comfortable and it was reasonably quiet for a hostel. Everything was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. The locker situation is a bit odd. There are lots of large lockers but they are expensive to... More

Hi John Thank you for taking the time and writing your review. I'm glad to hear that all together you had a positive impression of us. As you wrote, our lockers are placed outside of the shared rooms. We chose to do so because our 16 years of experience taught us that lockers inside the room tend to cause a... More

It was my first visit to Tel Aviv and thanks to a great location, everything was super easy to find. Reception girls were amazing, helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice, so were the showers and facilities. Pub crawl was amazingly organised and lead by the hosts. On the other hand, i'm sad cause i didn't had time to check the... More
