I did not stay here but recommended it to foreign business guests that requested a "budget" priced hotel. Entering the hotel and waiting in the lobby was enough to verify some previous reviews concerning the run-down condition of the Deborah Hotel... aged lobby furniture with filthy upholstery, dirty glass in doors windows facing the street, and broken stonework at the... I stayed 2 weekends at the Deborah Hotel. The first weekend, I had a small room on the 6th floor, which was more than adequate for one person. The room and bath were very clean, and there was good closet space. I really appreciated the in-room fridge, since I wasn't going to spend money on Shabbat and was able to... More

We stayed here for one night as a group returning home from pilgrimage. First of all beware if you book a room on a Saturday you cannot get your room till after all the Jews have checked out late. We had a meeting first of all in a room, the carpet was filthy and full of old stains as was... More

The location is convenient and breakfast buffet is included, although the actual 'buffet' consists of a few salads, 3 types of cheese, herring, and eggs - but decent enough.. However, the rooms are AWEFUL.. the room is small and has no decor to speak of, although we ordered a queen bed - what we actually received was two tiny twin... More

I spent just under 2 days in Tel Aviv before returning home. I booked in late afternoon on 17 August and booked out early morning hours of 19 August. I had a pleasant stay here and my room was very nice. With various restaurants and fast food places, one could pick and choose lunch and dinner. From what I understood,... More

We stayed at this hotel for only two nights, one of which was a Friday night, the start of Shabbat. Other than its convenient location, the hotel is generally average, but more or less worth its rates. Located in the middle of Ben Yehuda Street, one of the main avenues of Tel Aviv, it takes about 20 minutes to get... More

Arrived in Tel Aviv ... the beginning of tour of the Holy Lands.... The hotel is near the beach and on a busy road. The staff were friendly and upgrade the room... It was clean had a great view of the city and beach. The Breakfast and Dinner meals where great,... similar to home cooked meals... which after 2 months... More

The Deborah is 1 block from the ocean and on one of the busiest streets in Tel Aviv. We put our groups here because they aren't expecting upscale accommodations and are happy to stay at an older hotel whose prices are reasonable. The Deborah is not for travelers who have lots of money to spend and, therefore, want any type... More

We stayed here for one night in June and were very disappointed that for $230 dollars for a triple room it is totally overpriced for what you get. The room was old, the bathroom was shabby, tiles were peeling in the bathroom, no soap on the handbasin, only a soap dispenser over the bath - in fact a very uninviting... More

Dear Guest, Our hotel is indeed located in the best location in Tel Aviv, just minutes from the beach and next to shops and restaurants. Our triple rooms that you have stayed in are by far one of the largest in Tel Aviv and we therefore believe that we do offer value for money. As you wrote in your review,... More
