Stayed here Aug 2011 on a business trip and was able to get a room overlooking the Mediterranean. Very large and comfortable rooms, good beds and clean. Hotel service was courteous and breakfast reasonable. Excellent location to Tel Aviv downtown and boardwalk, exceptional restaurants and yes...the beach. The beach here is incredible, take your pick as your are walking distance... More

I come to Israel a few times a year and I have tried many different hotels. Last two years i always stay in Carlton Tel Aviv, which becomes more and more attractive each time. Great downtown location on the sea shore, wonderful view to the endless beaches and charming lagoon, - very romantic indeed. Rooms are very cosy, comfortable and... More

Been in and out of this hotel several times in the last 6 month. Good Hotel. Rooms are in general very good and they are in the process of renewing and modernizing them. True some of them can be bit small. Location is great. Nice restaurants close by. Breakfast is good and good selection( kosher as all hotels, so no... More

Before I begin my rant, let's talk about position. The location is great...overlooking the sea and close to shops and restaurant. The brunch is pretty good with lots of selection. Now for the negatives...where do i begin? Rooms are small, especially when I'm paying for over $200 (US) a night. I don't think exchange rates is the problem. Amenities are... More

The hotel was located right on the beach. Our double room was very spacious with plenty of closet space and a very large bathroom. True we faced the city, but we were never in the room for much time. The breakfast was outstanding each morning. The room overlooked the beach and you could relax looking the blue water. Yossi Navi... More

My husband is a tour guide so gets around Israel a lot. Last week we stayed at the Carlton for the first time. The hotel is lovely with a great location right across from the beach, beautiful spacious room with a partial beach view, but what most impressed us was the service. All of the staff were incredibly helpful- people... More

The hotel is located on sea front closeby very nice restaurants cooking excellent fish. The hall of the hotel is nice. The standard room I had was very small and noisy. During the night I could clearly hear the neighborhood customers going to the toilet or even simply talking. The hotel looks built on 70's so the exterior walls look... More

+++Clean (something rarely found in Israeli Hotels). Good breakfast overlooking the Marina. ---This has been my 3rd time to Tel Aviv. Once more I have realized how expensive, no value-for-money, Tel Aviv hotels are. Unfortunately you end up paying only for the location and the proximity to the beach rather for the actual quality of services offered.... At 220 euros/night... More

I would like to express my gratitude and to be thankful for a delightful stay while staying at the Carlton hotel during 12/1-12/4th 2011. We are staying at the hotel frequently every year. I would like to point out that every year they are successfully upgrading the level and class of the hotel. I would like to specify and thank... More
