This is a nice Marriott property right on the beach in Tel Aviv with easy access to the city - I even walked to the Asrieli Center - about 2 miles away. Very well maintained interior - rooms are nice - Concierge lounge is wonderful with incredible service. We were there in the winter and there's a lot of construction... More

This was by far the best hotel in my travels through Egypt, Jordan and Cairo. The tours all have buffets and this was the best as far as entrée selections and you felt like you were in a restaurant and not a function room. The hotel is right on the Med and the views from the balconies have a gorgeous... More

We had ordered a room in a upper floor. As an individual traveller I had expected that our wishes where catered for. However the reception manager tried to convince us, that the lowest floor room without any view was the best one. "Sorry but we are full with businesspeople". Finally we got a room in an upper floor. We could... More

Thank you for sharing your comments. We are in the process of modernizing our rooms on the upper floors which is why we usually recommend rooms on our lower floors which are already fully refurbished and still offer exceptional views of the sea. Making reservation by phone with our fantastic reservations team is always recommended so that we can note... More

After two separate visits it is time to say that this hotel is fabulous due to its exceptional staff! We arranged for our young-adult son to stay, first, as part of his birthday celebration and then again one week later. The manager (only wish we remembered her name) literally did everything possible to make our son’s stay wonderful and memorable... More

We were in Israel for a winter vacation and chose the Renaissance because it came up on the Marriott website. The rooms are a bit smaller than American hotels, but not unusual for European hotels. The hotel is on the beach, and salt spray is everywhere. It's difficult to keep a property up in this environment, but all was very... More

The view from this hotel is amazing. Sadly, the staff (front desk and bellmen) can be very rude about literally anything. We were chided frequently when asking questions about restaurants or taxis. It was not a welcoming experience. The hotel did have a great breakfast and the cleaning was efficient and timely.

Great location right on the water with good restaurants in the area. The customer service was very good. The front desk manager Shimon was especially helpful. The only negative was the restaurant. The food was very average. It is an older hotel but the location and excellent service makes this a great choice!

Our family of 5 arrived in the middle of the night after a late flight and had a restful sleep before heading into Jerusalem to begin our 2 week tour. Reception was fairly quick at check in and helpful the next morning in directing us to an ATM within walking distance.

Location on the sea promenade is the main trump of this hotel. Also service is great and checkin was just perfect. Rooms are small and heavily worn out. I could see certain effort to keep all that maintained, but rather helpless. Balcony was dangerous and dirty. Breakfast was superdelicious and this softened all my critics. Sleep quality was also fine.... More

Excellent location: on the beach, close to shopping and restaurants, an enjoyable boardwalk (30 minutes) to Jaffa center. Very good breakfast, very friendly - and efficient - service by the front office, room facing the beautiful beach, flexible transportation (busses, cabs). Certainly recommend.
