We were told by the doorman to leave our car just outside hotel's front door during check in. Imagine our surprise when we come out 15 minutes later (we literally checked in and brought our bags upstairs and ran back down) and there is a 250 nis parking ticket tucked into our windshield wiper. The doorman just shrugged and said... more

This hotel is right in the heart of Tel Aviv. Right on the beach and the beach was beautiful. The water is so warm and stays shallow so far out. People are swimming from dawn to dusk. Resturants are all around. you can walk to most shopping. On the outside it doesn't look that great, but inside is very nice.... more

The location can't be beat - right at the beach and only a short walk to restaurants, night life, cafes, and shops. Great, clean beach with chairs and umbrellas for rent. Beautiful lobby - everything seemed clean and up to date. The room was small-ish but nicely furnished and quiet. Decent selection of international channels on the t.v. Super comfortable... more

Just back from a week at the Renaissance (our 4th at this particular hotel, our 14th to Israel) and once again the hotel has come up trumps. Based on previous experience, we booked fairly early and insisted on a Jaffa view and a high floor before we agreed the booking. The first requirement will soon become obvious when you compare... more

Stayed with my partner at this beach hotel in Feb 2009. Although staff was friendly and attentative, the property itself has definitely seen better days. All of the public areas were pretty dated and worn. Also the fitness room & pool is in urgent need of renovation. Our rooms was in slighlty better shape than the public areas, although you... more

We stayed two nights when we arrived in Israel for our big trip. This hotel is a Marriott property. We stayed one night my points and one night by pay. When we made the reservations, Marriott messed up the dates and when I tried to fix them the availability by points got really screwed up. The staff (particularly Ms. Luz)... more

I just arrived from Israel this morning and am still in tears. Whatever you do, please please please do NOT stay at the Renaissance in Tel Aviv, Israel. I was robbed by the housekeeper while I was away from my room. She went thru SIX different places, including my medicine bag and makeup bag to take all and any jewelry... more

My husband and I were tour group leaders with a group of 50 people from Canada, US and Britain. This was our 6th tour to Israel, and first time at Renaissince., in Tel Aviv. I have to honestly say it is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, in Tel Avi, I find it hard to justify... more

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Arriving at Tel Aviv airport was fine, if you are worried about customs stamping your passport don't be just ask them to stamp a landing card. Easy enough check at the hotel Nice view of the beach, we had a deluxe room, which was very standard, maids were knocking on the door... more

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights when the England football team were playing Israel. I arrived at this hotel about 10am and was able to check-in without any delay. I had a room over-looking the beach so that was nice. The room was a single but was a reasonable size, it was clean and modern. Staff were always... more
