The David Intercontinental is by far th nicest hotel in Tel Aviv. It is a very large hotel, so if intimate is your thing go elsewhere. The hotel is impeccable, the rooms are very large, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was huge with every amenity. They provide you with everything you would expect in a five star hotel. The... more

Unfortunately, there are only few (2-3) good hotels in Tel-Aviv and this is one of the best. Good services, rooms are big enough, however some of them need renovation. I liked their tubs: always clean and their "-417" cosmetics is also very nice. The best choise in comparison to other hotels with the same rates (or close to it). Once... more

3 day business trip at the David Intercontinental. Fast check-in and good service throughout the the hotel. Plenty of variety in the restaurants on site and very close to the beach for getting some fresh air. My room was on the 18th floor and quite close to the lifts which are very fast but also noisy so will get a... more

Thank you for your comments, we appreciate your feedback and are happy you enjoyed your stay with us. As far as the price of the gym is concerned, the fee that is charged also includes part of the SPA facilities.

Stayed here on 2 occasions in September. By far not the worst hotel I've stayed and certainly not close to the best. Both stays the check-in staff was plain rude and condescending (these were the local staff). However, there were 2 Russian/Slovenian girls on a later shift who were very pleasant and helpful. Also the "apprentice" working at reception really... more

I had a free night this week-end with club points, so we thought why not, would have been better staying else where. Big plus room was very nice 23rd floor The check in staff where very rude "asking me if I had ever stayed in a hotel before" should have taken her name. We had a child in our room... more

I very much enjoyed my stay at the David Intercontinental. The view of sunset over the mediteranean from my room every night was amazing. The room was well equpied and the chocolates and water on arrival was a nice touch. The hotel is in a good location with an easy walk into town or to Jaffa. Staff very helpful -... more

This hotel was a splurge for us, and clearly not worth it. Fodors said it had the best food in Tel Aviv--clearly wrong. The Friday Night Dinner in the Jaffa Court restaurant was terrible and cost $65 per person! The food was too salty - the "soup" like salty dishwater. The meat was tough and cold. Many of the dishes... more

We do appreciate your comments and we regret to hear about your disappointment about the food dishes served during the traditional Israeli Shabbat Dinner. The Friday dinner events have been constantly successful over the past month with a mix of local residents as well as international travelers being our guests. The observations you have made are very helpful for us...

I use very often Intercontinental, this one in Tel Aviv is impressive, the service is very careful, but rooms are very noisy because of undergoing renovaion works. Forniture even on executive rooms are quite old. Location is beatiful. Not The best Itercontinental but still a good hotel even if it's too expensive compared to quality. more

Rooms above 11 Floor are very large and well maintained, and if you think the beach is not important to you stay here for the prepaid deals. Otherwise $$$. You do not need the breakfast $ 30 perp. You can walk to some little cafes within 10 mins. Aug 09 more
