Chef's is very nice, cosy hostel in a heart of Tel Aviv. Great location in posh district of Montefiore mixed with resonable prices makes this a perfect place to stay while in Tel Aviv. Then you have all things you neet when in hostel: comfy beds, clean bathrooms, a fully equiped kitchen, common areas to stay and chat with people... More

We spent two nights there in March. The first was not too bad but the during the second the party was on the whole night in the lobby (just behind the door of our dorm) and we were not able to sleep. We met someone in Jerusalem who had the same problem at this Hostel few days before us. The... More

I had a great time at chef. I have already been there before, but always great to go back. super nice family and hostel owner, feel like home and in my opinion really best place to stay in TLV. Especially when travelling solo or with friends.

The hostel is family run and Roy and Felix are very kind and helpful. Felix is always open to give every possible advice for TLV and Roy frequently takes his guests out to his favorite TLV nightlife places. The other team members (2014) Brenn, Judith and Sierrra are very friendly and supportive and the team is like a family. The... More

One thing i really liked about this hostel was the location close to everything. At the evnings there was always people on the backyard communicating, some having... More

We stayed 5 nights at Chef Hostel and it was great! Like at home, no stress and a lot of freedom. The location is perfect for the nightlife but also, during the day, to go to the main spots to the market, to the yemenite quarter and then to the very nice beach & promenade. The staff and the owner... More

The hostel is so well located that I wasn't sure I was heading to the correct address when I first arrived. The toilets are very clean, the bunks are basic but quite comfortable. It is a very safe place and the staff is really nice. I have been three times in Tel Aviv and this is the best stay I... More

My stay at Chef Hostel Montefiore was very nice! I was received with warm smiles that lasted my entire three days. Someone was always available to answer questions. Found the location great. I could walk to everything: the beach; Old Yaffa for the walking tour; the promenade; the Carmel Market; Dizengoff Center; and even the train station! Rooms and bathrooms... More
