Perfect spot to explore Tel Aviv, well-located and within walking distance of many sites/neighborhoods we wanted to visit. We were traveling with teenage children and the very large family suite was more than enough space and great value. The staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations for restaurants, activities or arranging taxis. Offering guests a drink upon arrival was another great... More

Front desk staff was friendly - offered us a free coffee, beer or wine in the adjoining bar/cafe (which was really a cool place) and the room was VERY large and spacious! Love the art all around the public areas (seems it changes periodically) and the location is also perfect - only 1 block from Rothschild. Also - garage parking!... More

We had an executive suite (top floor) which featured a good sized bedroom and sitting room with kitchen facilities and well fitted bathroom. The art displayed throughout the hotel makes it an interesting and stimulating place to stay and it has a homely atmosphere. The wi-fi works very well, good download speed. The hotel is clean and maintained to a... More

As usual, everything was just really excellent. This is the ultimate boutique hotel tuned up to perfection. We will never even consider staying anywhere else. Plus, the art and fashion shows with really interesting participants - how often can you say that? Love love love the place.

Centrally located, large apartment style rooms, super friendly staff, great value in Tel Aviv. Diaghilev has served as our preferred hotel destination in Tel Aviv for the past few years. Our experience is always pleasurable and seamless from beginning to end. Definitely our home away from home and one that we've recommended to just about everyone we know including local... More

My partner and I spent nine days in Tel Aviv at The Diaghilev Live Art Hotel in April 2014. The hotel is perfectly located, just two blocks off the lively Rothschild Blvd, and not far from Shienken Street and the fun Carmel Market. Our one-bedroom suite was very large and comfortable with large windows. The hotel has a lovely bar/cafe... More

Great experience here on my first trip to Tel Aviv, clearly shared by many other guests who have submitted reviews. Amazing staff who are ridiculously friendly and helpful and clearly enjoy their work. Nothing was too much trouble, including plentiful nightlife recommendations. Hotel itself is in an awesome location to enjoy the best of a fun, cool city. Rooms nicely... More

I spent 5 nights here in April '14. I was traveling initially with my 20 year old son and then solo. The Diaghilev is the perfect place to stay in Tel Aviv. Location: 10-15 mins walk from all the restaurants and bars on Rothschild and Neve Tzedek. Quiet and picturesque street. Rooms: the suites are large, bright, simply but elegantly... More

We (couple with young child) spent our first night in Israel at The Diaghilev beg-April, and that was an INCREDIBLE start. We were welcomed by the staff, which offered us complementary drinks and has personally shown our lovely suite. Room was pretty and spacious, with a large balcony. Breakfast served until 2pm (!), though rather small (salad, coffee and juice... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Diaghilev is a bohemian boutique hotel that offers an extraordinary and exceptional cultural experience intensified by an excellent personal service. The hotel features an art gallery exhibiting over 500 artworks that change every 6 months, unique and mostly radical decor items, a collection of hand made rugs from all over the universe, most of which are ancient and therefore reflect the aged cultures they originate from. The Diaghilev has recently established a HUB for Start-ups and integrates a wide activity in such fields as design, fashion and technology. The uniqueness of the hotel brought it into prominence among internationally acknowledged artist visiting Tel Aviv and the world of technology and start-up. Many employees of the leading corporations in the world choose the Diaghilev as their base in Tel Aviv.Built in the purest Bauhaus the Diaghilev invites its guests to experience a World Cultural Heritage site rich of hundreds of Bauhaus buildings and get a taste of the “White City”.Our uncommon nocturnal concept was designed taking account of a recent scientific research that showed evidence that black beddings cause intensive production of Melatonin hormone, which results in deeper sleep, stronger immune system and increased anti-aging effect. The Diaghilev is an eco-friendly hotel, committed to a continually expanding list of operating practices that aim to maintain minimal environmental impact. The toiletries at the Diaghilev are of outstanding quality. They are produced from natural materials created from plants cultivated for this purpose in the hills of Jerusalem. These products are produced and packaged at a small factory that employs people with disabilities and integrates them into the labor market. Our creativity-support concept lead to the establishment of the HUB - a shared work environment that is more than a physical workplace for creative entrepreneurs: It is designed to nurture a community in which creators will be able to collaborate with one another in order to produce innovative projects and initiatives. ... more   less
