Booked the this hotel based upon combination of the reviews of other travellers and the rate. If the room was not pre paid, I would have immediately left and found another hotel. The hotel has no elevator so be prepared to lug all your luggage up several twisting flights of stairs on old musty carpeting. The room we stayed in... More

I've never before given a "hotel" a terrible rating, and I've stayed in at least a hundred hotels worldwide over the past ten years. I have no idea how this property even qualifies as a hotel. It's a tiny dive in one of the least appealing neighborhoods of Tel Aviv, with the bare minimum of amenities. It should be labeled... More

Pros: -This little hotel can be hard to be found but it's in the center of Tel Aviv. -Restaurants and bars are plenty in the neighborhood. The beach is 10 mins walking. -I stay for over a week in April and the service was good. The receptionists are friendly, the room is clean. -The wifi is stable, the rooftop is... More

I booked this hotel last moment for the period of April 9 - 15 and did not actually found out that this was going to be the holidays time. It is small, only 11 rooms. My room was good and housekeeping did their work perfectly, everything was replenished on the daily basis. The walls are thin and do not actually... More

After extensive research there was no price difference between this mini hotel and a hostel room in this costly city. I was more than satisfied with our room which was clean, well equipped with a fridge, kettle and comp. tea coffee. We had fresh sheets and towels each day and the room had air con too. The roof terrace is... More

First time in tel aviv, and this seems to be the most active area for stuff so the location is good. Staff are happy to chat. Room is clean and comfortable. Walls are thin but this doesn't bother me. Bar directly underneath hotel has good music but 65NIS for a cognac was more than I had expected.

We only needed a hotel for two nights and wanted to keep costs down. After extensive comparisons of similar hotels and Airbnb properties, we chose Galileo and were not disappointed. Location is a short walk to the beach and is located in a pretty central area. Our room was overlooking the front street which was a bit loud because of... More

When plans changed due to weather, we needed a place to crash few hours after a long bus ride and before an early morning flight – Galileo Hotel was a perfect fit! Great location, easy / safe walk to waterfront, plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff at desk were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful in arranging taxi to airport. We could... More

Rather feel you couldn’t be better placed to take in Tel-Aviv than from the Galileo, the area is literally teaming with life and is the perfect base to explore from. With this in mind, the price was surprisingly low as Tel-Aviv is not known to be inexpensive. The hotel though, is due an upgrade; whilst it retains a certain charm... More

Dear Nick, Thank you for taking the time to write your review via TripAdvisor. We are happy to read that you loved the location of the hotel, and while some of the charm of the hotel is its decor, we do have plans to renovate. We hope to welcome you back in the future. Best, Ilan Sturm. More

Quaint little hotel. Superb location in the heart of Tel Aviv. Room with spa bath and balcony was clean and charming. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Roof garden seems nice ,would have paid a visit , if I'd known about it. Tip: HOKA factory shop for the best running/ walking shoes is 200 metres away in Bailik St.
