This is a large house converted to a small hotel. Single rooms with private baths. Clean enough. Has AC, but it took me a while to figure out how to operate it. Great roof patio. The surrounding neighborhood is fascinating. Walking distance to the beach, easy access to public transportation, central location relative to major sights. Friendly, helpful staff. No... More

More of a hostel feel to it than a hotel. No breakfast, and small rooms make it a three star. The service was above average and the location was excellent. Cleanliness was less than average and the bathroom had a funky tub but no shower which made getting clean an adventure! The room is near many great cafes and restaurants... More

The hotel is located in a quiet street but close to a lot of bars and restaurants and the beach. Our room was clean and had a nice balcony. Coming from the central bus station take bus number 4, after King George street get out and it's just 2 minutes by foot to the hotel. It was no problem to... More

My partner and I visited Tel Aviv for 2 nights from London. We chose the Galileo based on price and largely positive reviews. Prior to departing London we called the hotel to ask if they could provide check-in and check out times. The receptionist was helping a hotel guest at the time and put me on hold, a little frustrating... More

just a block off Ben Yehuda Street this small hotel is in the Yemenite quarters of Tel Aviv. Walk to the Carmel Market, dozens of restaurants and all the shops on Ben Yehuda St too, The Mediterreanean Sea is also closeby. We even walked to Old Jaffa.

We flew to Tel Aviv and didn't really know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is situated in the heart of Little Tel Aviv, the trendy part of town, and only 5 mins from the beautiful beaches. We stayed there as it was within our budget and marketed itself as gay friendly. We certainly had no problems... More

We spent four nights at this hotel at the start of April. Hotels in Tel Aviv are very expensive and we chose this small, unpretentious hotel for its price/location ratio. From that point of view we couldn't have done better - the hotel is in a very central position with plenty of restaurants, shops and markets nearby. Staff at reception... More

Stayed here for one night after a flight and all I had in mind was sleeping so it did good. Place is very basic, my single room was the size (and decor) of a prison cell but it had a TV, fridge and AC which is all I needed. Location is great, central and close to all the sites. Seemed... More

It promoted itself as a boutique hotel, but it turned out to be a small hotel with tiny rooms and no facilities. Staff were helpful and nice. It is closed to camel market. As a whole, it was not worth as present price.

We really enjoyed the location of the Galileo. It was close to the market. The staff was very friendly & answered all our questions informing us about what we needed & wanted to know more about Tel Aviv.
