The travel agency I work with placed me at the Savoy Hotel on the south-central Tel Aviv beachfront for a trip I just returned from. Other than its sad history as the site of a PLO terrorist attack in 1975, I had not heard of it. It was completely renovated and just reopened in January 2009, and I really liked... more

The hotel is an above average 3-star. I found the service helpful, arranging for early checkin and a few computer printouts without problems. Taxis were arranged exactly as requested without any fuss and the wifi access is free, fast and reliable. Breakfast is of good quality but not very imaginative, with the same smallish buffet every morning. Rooms are small,... more

What can I say about Hotel Savoy Tel-Aviv? What a delightful experience we had, the four of us meant to stay there 4 nights but As se missed our flight to Tel Aviv we only stayed 3 nights. Arriving at the hotel Tired and hot, hoping to have good accommodations awaiting us to be met with A cheerful receptionist who... more

Nice modern design, if a bit cold, spartan looking. The room that I stayed in was very small, could just barely walk around the bed and furniture) and this was the second room they offered, after I complained about the size of the first. Very few facilities (no pool or fitness) in this hotel - it's basically no-frills. Close to... more

Nice and friendly staff in a well located hotel. Very new and well maintained but the room was barely larger then then bed. Price was $150. No pool, and small breakfast by Israel standards. Small fridge in room. more

I stayed at the Savoy for 4 nights last week. The hotel was spotless, staff were amazingly helpful & friendly, breakfast was lovely, rooms were immaculate and i'd give this 10/10 for great location. This hotel was better than most of the W Hotels i've stayed at. No pool but literally 1/2 block from the beach. Anyone who complains about... more

We stayed in this hotel twice during our stay in Israel. On the first occassion, the stay was ok - yet not a great deal (140USD). The room on the 3rd floor had a good size and the staff was friendly. But on the second stay we regretted having returned: - we had to pay 20 USD more because we... more

While I liked the modern design and central location of this hotel, the room was so tiny and claustrophobic that I could not recommend this hotel, especially if staying for more than 1 or 2 nights. Unfortunately I stayed for 5 nights, and by Day 2 was experiencing feelings of severe claustrophobia and felt as if the room was closing... more

New small hotel, good location, clean and functional, very good fresh breakfast, promotes itself as a boutique hotel, but the finish lets it down. Cheap flatpack furniture, and a lack of services and amieneties you would expect in a 4* hotel let it down. Fine for £100 a night, and probably better than the old brand hotels on the beach. more
