we had a 24 off daily activities, and decided to spend one day in Tel Aviv. as we live in Jerusalem, this is just like another continent. we decided not to stay in the central regions of Tel Aviv, a hostel in Jaffa (the former Arab region of the city) was a nice alternative. the hostel is a relatively low... I had a great two night stay in this place, the staff were great and location in the old part of the city was very atmospheric and charming. It's tucked down a little side street just off the clock tower. Well worth the 5 mins spent finding it. Would defiantly go back again, if your on a budget then it... More

I can't imagine people not loving this place! It has so much character, old details, amazing location in yafo and very friendly staff. I stayed with my friend in room 11 which was very spacious and balcony with street view. I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back!

The hostel is smack dab in Old Jaffa so it has a good location but it was very hard for us to find because it's hidden away. Staff were very friendly and nice and the light breakfast was a good touch. Overall the hostel could use some work as far as the restrooms go.

Best location in Tel Aviv without spending 200 euro's a night. Right in the heart of the old port City of Jaffa, which has been inhabited for more than 5,000 years. Stroll or surf, yes there are waves in Israel, the clean, white sands of the crystal clear beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. Climb the hill of Jaffa and go... More

We had a very positive experience there...the place looks very impressive. Rooms were clean and full of vintage decorations. It looks like a lot of effort was made from zohar and the staff in order to make this place so nice. Two thumbs up!!

Its a pity really, the service and reception is so terrible it ruins the natural charm of the place. I saw both prospective and actual guests treated poorly by the receptionist and staff who behave the exact opposite of helpful and attentive. The young receptionist was particularly hostile and acted as if we were trespassing in his own home- really... More

Recommended. I slept on the roof, the price was a little high for just a mattress but the roof top garden under which the mattress lays is so beautiful. You will not regret staying here, the stars the grapes the persimmons it's lovely. And the breaks fast provided is delightful

The hotel have all ingredients to be a top location, but it fails by the lack of hospitality and the overpriced and small rooms. The staff is discourteous and poorly trained. Beside this there was an extremely noisy climate system in the room next to us. We expected more from this hotel in this nice old Jaffa area. All in... More

it's a nice old house in the middle of Old Jaffa. It's a kind of Youth-Hostel. Expensive for the service like everything in Israel. But of course there is a comfortable balkony and on the top a terrasse, where you can sit and look and cook!
