We have stayed at this place many times. In about the best and prettiest location in Jersusalem -- in Yemin Moshe, under the old city walls, near the center, Jaffa Gate, Damascus Gate, the kotel. The Dream of Jerusalem" suite is the best, with a roof deck facing the old city. Not particularly modern or updated. But hotels in Jerusalem... More

An amazing view of the Old city day or night, comfortable accommodations, spacious, with quick access to the Old City and central Jerusalem. We could go anywhere easily from here, and come back to a good shower, and a good night's sleep. The kitchenette was handy and from here we got our rental car. This is so central, I highly... More

Wow, what a beautiful place to stay! From the moment we arrived our host Yossi made us feel welcome. The cottage was lovely, spacious, clean and had a stunning view of the old city walls and tower of david, which is just a 5-10 minute walk to jaffa gate. I'm often up quite early so watching the sun rise over... More

Stayed with Yossi for 4 nights whilst touring Jerusalem. Location couldn't have been better--perfectly situated within easy walking distance of the Jaffa gate to Old City and the rates were unbelievable for how close we were. Rooms are about what you would expect, and the shower takes a minute to warm up, but if you're looking for a great deal... More

Yossi and Varda Avissar are, for me, the perfect hosts. They don't meddle but are always there to do essential hosting tasks and solve any problems as they arise. Need advice about transportation? Just ask. Want to know where to get the best coffee, or cash machine, or special taxi to the airport? They provide all the concierge services you'd... More

Won't look for anywhere else whenever I am in Jerusalem. Charming host who took a call in the middle of the night from New Zealand! The nearby Touro restaurant is very good too. I took the Under the Olive Tree suite and my friend the next door studio, so we shared a patio. Very good for morning coffee and a... More

Great views across the old city. Very easy walk into both the new and old town areas. We were there in November 2012 and still... More
