That was most terrible hotel we ever have been to. You enter it from the narrow corridor of bustling Arab market which is totally deserted after 7:00 pm. and there is no one on narrow streets. The staff was very friendly and the hotel easy to find (2 minute walk from Damascus gate). However, the hotel itself is very old and not well maintained. If you want a 4* plus hotel away from the old city don't stay here. If however you want a hotel with great character in the heart of the old city this will be for you.
