Spent one night in this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel...i was expecting more 'hostel' than hotel. The entrance to the hotel is in the middle of the market but don't be put off because the rooms are quiet and private and i slept like a baby. The water was warm and it was a proper shower head!... more

There was no heating so both the room and the lounge where you get breakfast was freezing cold. We complained and got a small electric heater but we had to turn it off when taking shower. There was only cold water in the tap and power shower gave only tepid water. Because the room was cold it was also damp... more

The rooms are small and simple and not as sparkling clean as I would have liked, but the hotel owners and staff more than made up for that..they were wonderful, helpful, protective, and kind. more

The hashime hotel in the old city of jerusalem was not what I expected based on what I read on the internet. No air conditioning, no internet, very unclean, no free breakfast, etc. However, the staff was nice and helpful and the price was good. more
