I stayed at the hotel over Shabbat with my extended family (32 of us in all)-- the rooms were very nice- flat screen tvs and mini-refrigerators in each, very spacious, nice bathroom, comfortable beds. They had cribs for the babies, extra cots for kids, and it all fit very well. We were in the "800" wing, which is relatively quiet.... More

Picture this... we come back to the hotel after a long day in Jerusalem. The hallway where our room is, is pitch black, our room key has been deactivated, the room was never cleaned- no towels, no toilet paper. Really made me feel welcome...not!!! Management was appropriately apologetic and did compensate me for the inconvenience. The view from the hotel... More

If you want to enjoy beautiful surroundings and walk in the forrest, this is the place to be. It is a simple and cheap hotel, but everything you need is provided. If you have your own car, the drive to Jerusalem will take you 20 minutes. Do not expect luxury! More

We were invited for a family event-a group of 60 people. The place is very suitable for this kind of events. But the hotel itself needs a lot of renovations and cleaning, the rooms are very basic and not well kept.It takes a litlle time to find your way with all the corridors and different buildings. But the food was really... More

This is a large, simple hotel that I would rate in the two star category. The rooms are small but clean. Food in the large dining area was below par. It is noisy, full of families with young children, tour groups, and young adults. It was okay for sleeping, but I lack enthusiasm for this place. It is also in... More

The hotel is a tad spartan, but the food is excellent and the site, overlooking the Judean Hills and Jerusalem is simply lovely. More

As with some other reviewers, we were invited to stay there from Friday to Saturday as part of a large family event. The view is breathtaking, the food was very good and the restaurant staff, from Abu Ghosh, were friendly, warm and helpful. It took us about 30 seconds to check in - we were handed our keys straight away... More

This kibbutz hotel charges more than similar guest houses; unjustifiably, it turns out. We paid for a room in the "new wing" (more than what we'd pay in the main building) and were given a room without a bathtub. We were ready to leave but we were stuck. The food is OK but they charge extra for tea - an... More

My wife and I stayed here for a few days for our nephew's Bar Mitzvah which was held in the hotel. The first thing you need to know is that this is a kibbutz hotel, not a resort. The view from the hotel is amazing but the hotel itself is a little of the beaten path. Its up in the... More

This is a beautiful locale, although the hotel itself is basic. It has more of a feel of religious retreat type place, as its way up in the hills. I agree with the other reviewer- the hotel staff were ok except in the canteen- its not a restaurant- where I could never get their attention. At least once I ate... More
