The Gloria Hotel is located just inside the Jappa Gate inside of Jerusalem. We had rooms directly on the main street and enjoyed the simple pleasure of watching the streets come alive at night. The rooms were simple, but adequate and the meals were excellent. It was a great place to base an adventure in Jerusalem. more

I found the Gloria Hotel through TripAdvisor and booked through another website. Although the hotels own website is a little old, I booked with them anyway. Don't let the hotels own website put you off. I have stayed at some very nice and expensive hotels on my travels, but the Gloria is one of the best I've ever stayed in.... more

The hotel's location is only surpassed by the helpfulness of the staff. The rooms are clean and economical. The food in the restaurant is very good. I brought a group of 40 people for two weeks to Jerusalem and could not be happier. You are right in the Old City so you save money on transportation. Do yourself a favor... more

Gloria gave us the courtesies of hearing our needs then offering sound advice for what we sought in Jerusalem.
