The Scottish Guesthouse is located very close to the Old City, you walk 15 min to the Yaffo Gate. The rooms are functional and clean, while the whole atmosphere of the hotel is just charming. The old building, the quiet and cool garden, the view on Jerusalem, everything seems to be there just to make your stay in Jerusalem pleasant.... More

We've been in St. Andrew's Scottish Guesthouse for a weekend with three other couples. The guesthouse is very well placed, in the center, near the Jerusalem Old City. It hasn't many rooms so it's not very crowd. Although the rooms are very basic we didn't spend much time in the room because every night we had a friendly party with... More

Walking into the Scottish Guesthouse with its fabulous Armenian tiles at the entrance and warm friendly welcome in reception I just couldn't quite figure out why it's been two years since my last visit. The wonderful surprise was that’s become even better then I remembered. The rooms have been renovated and from being rather Spartan have become comfortable, though simple... More

Although the rooms are very basic (no TV, basic beds and furniture and very basic showers- and worse the light comes in the room in the morning), the great location, right near some of Jerusalem's main attractions (first train station, Yemin Moshe neighborhood and windmill and walking distance from the old city and with a great view of it, makes... Clean, bright, modest (no TV) "Jerusalem ambiance", friendly staff .. incredible location, view of the Old City of Jerusalem , reasonable rates. Walking distance to downtown - shopping, restaurants, cafes etc., Old City, Train Station (recently gentrified)

We spent a week at the Scottish Guest House, friendly staff, breakfast was fantastic so much choice, plenty of parking and restaurants close by. Also close to touring Jerusalem by foot we would love to return in the future.

We've spent the last weekend in the Scottish Guesthouse at Jerusalem, 3 couples and it was just great! There is a very nice landscape of the old city, yet it is quite nearby to it and to some other attractions. The staff were very friendly which makes the stay very pleasant. I strongly command this place.

This review is long overdue. We (myself and my elderly parents) stayed at this charming location for 5 days in November 2014 at the beginning of our 3 weeks stay in Israel. I can honestly say that the friendly and sincerely kind staff that this Guesthouse employees was unmatched in all the hotels that we stayed throughout our time in... More

The guest house overlooks the western part of Jerusalem's Old City Walls and is 10 minutes on foot from the Jaffa Gate. The interior is clean and simple. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast spread was excellent (make sure to ask for an omelette). Rooms are a little small but otherwise 5* all round- especially at $115 a night.
