Hard to fault the Scottish Guest House for anything. Very clean, and accommodating, they managed to get all four of us into a room with three single beds and a fold up bed for the fourth. It was a bit tight, but it was less than the apartment would have been which wasn't available anyway. No matter, we were gone... More

I stayed here for 9 nights during a business trip. For me the location was ideal, a short (10-15 minute) stroll from Jaffa Gate and slightly similar distance from Yaffo Street. The staff were very friendly and I was impressed with the size of my room. Although I didn't have a great view from my room (like some of the... More

My wife and I just returned from two weeks in Jerusalem where we only stayed at St Andrew's. Its rooms are rather basic, although many of the bathrooms are undergoing updating. That being said on many other levels it was excellence by any measure. First and foremost the staff were uniformly courteous, friendly, professional and extremely responsive and helpful. The... More

Wonderful jewel of a place in Jerusalem. Had a room overlooking the old city and we felt we were transported back to the time of Christ. A cool 20min walk if you are so inclined, which we did. Delicious breakfast with eggs made to order and fresh orange juice. Love the bread and dips.Stayed there for 2 nights. Basic but... More

A friend and I stayed here a few years ago. It is walkable to the Old City and near a bus line as well, between two main roads. Chapel was lovely as was the gift shop. Food was wonderful, the chef liked to experiment making new dishes every morning. Staff was more than friendly, in fact one of the night... More

Just stayed five nights at St. Andrews with a balcony room. The view from my balcony was nothing short of spectacular. Staff warm and wonderful, the place is spotless. It is the same distance from Jaffa gate as hotels in the more crowded Zion Square area, but the German Colony gives a flavor of a real neighborhood. Some of the... More

The rooms in this guesthouse are simple and yet adequate. All you need plus the excellent service. A small distance away from the hustle and bustle of the walled city but near enough for one to sit at the balcony and admire everything. A very peaceful place. I intended to stay there for 2 nights but ended up staying for... More

We spent there one night with four more couples (we are all in our 50's....) and all of us liked it. The rooms are simple but clean and nice, breakfast is excellent, the staff is very helpful and the view from the patio is astonishing. The location is close to everywhere, and it is really a sort of different athmosphere... More

The rooms in this hotel are simple but adequate, tea and coffee making facilities are available. The views are stunning, it is worth getting up early to watch the sun rise over Jerusalem. You can walk everywhere from here, the location is perfect. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, breakfast is excellent. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful gardens and terrace where... More

Really great location with an excellent breakfast and free parking for guests. Close enough to the King David, the Old City, the Mamila mall, German colony etc. that I walked everywhere around here day and night. Perfect place for a 3 night stay in Jerusalem. They also sell stamps and will mail your postcards! Nice touch! More
