We stayed at Olive Tree for almost a week. I find the hotel clean and comfortable. Despite the numerous group tours that come in and out everyday, the staff always let the guests feel important. The hotel staff are courteous, considerate and kind. Breakfast was fabulous, waiters are always there to give a helping hand. There's this Palestinian waiter who's... more

Rooms are small, but ok; food is very varied but not of the best quality, loby looks like a packed east Jerusalem bazar, which doesn't give you a very pleasant feeling. the location is a major minus since it's located far from downtown Jerusalem. more

Like many other reviewers, I stayed here with a tour group. It was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our tour of Israel. I would recommend it. more

Even though we didn't choose this hotel ourselves because it was part of the tour, we recommend it one hundred percent. Excellent food, staff very knowledgeable and nice appointed rooms, made our stay magical in the Holy Land. more

We stayed here with a group of 90 and you did not feel like it. They had three separate dining areas for the breakfast and dinner. The food was very good with lots of choices.. Wine and coffee were extra at dinner by coffee was included with breakfast. There was a nice lounge and bar for the evening hours ,... more

I was part of a tour group of 137 who stayed at this hotel in March. My picky mother and I both enjoyed our stay. The staff in the lower dining room went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The food was plentiful but with little seasoning except chili-type peppers. I noticed that the food in our previous... more

Stayed here as part of a group tour, which the hotel obviously caters to. The rooms were clean and good size. Breakfast buffet was awesome, tho pretty much the same every day. Dinner buffet was also awesome, particularly desserts. Don't know what the restaurant was like for independent guests, but the buffets were really good, so can assume cook to... more

Olive Tree Hotel WARNING: this hotel advertises free internet, however the minimum actual charge is 9 USD for an hour. When the front desk was asked about this their response was essentially “so what” The hotel is new and clean, the housekeeping staff competent. Bell staff and wait staff are attentive and both have a distinctive livery. You may have... more

This is a very nice place to stay, the service, the rooms, location which is not far from the Old City of Jerusalem. I was mostly surprised by the internet service they offer from the TV screen in the room. I had an LCD, of at least 32" just across my bed & a wireless keyboard set. Internet access and... more

We've stayed at the Olive Tree on two seperate occasions and each time was impressed with the quality of this hotel. There are a couple of shops located inside and the merchants are very helpful and speak English quite well. Alot of tour groups stay at this Hotel and they do a great job of taking care of everyone. The... more
