Picture this: Waking up at 3:00 am from jet-lag, looking out the window into the courtyard below, and seeing a small figure, clothed in traditional orthodox black, hunched-down and praying, meditating on the same scripture that his family has for thousands of years before a high holy day... Yes, the rooms need updating, but the location is in the heart... More

I've stayed at the Lev twice. Location is perfect, food is more than alright, rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is wonderful! I needed some urgent assistance with an important matter and Avi and Meirav (reception) did everything to help me resolve it. They were simply amazing because that's what this hotel is all about : to offer you... More

Have stayed there twice. The rooms are a little worn, but quite OK for the price. Very good service at the reception. Arrived last time 05:00 even if check in was in afternoon. As part of a small group of 5 persons, we got one of the rooms at that hour for no extra charge for storing the groups luggage.... More

I arrived to Jerusalem in order to visit relatives and i took their advice to stay at the Lev Jerusalem hotel. The rooms were actully suits. Although the hotel doesn't have any special attractions such as a café or a pool, the service was outstanding and definitely one of the best I got . for example, the front desk service by... More

Location is the biggest positive about the hotel. It's smack in the middle of everything - it's perfect. That's the only positive. The hotel hasn't been renovated since the 80s. The entire hotel has a ghetto feeling, even though you're paying a high cost. Rooms are outdated and dirty, but do have a small kitchenette which is good if you're... More

I've stayed here a few times. First the negative--it is several years past its expiration for a remodeling. Most everything is worn. On the plus side the location is fantastic, staff is friendly and it is very convenient having a kitchenette and 2 rooms. I would choose this place for convenience and not for luxury.

It’s hard to start a comment when there are so many bad things to say. Just to put it in a few words, it is the worst place we have ever stayed at. And we’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in every continent over the last 30 years. The hotel is extremely outdated. Everything looks old, gross and dirty.... More

Very good with an excellent cost benefit, and the main hotel is the fact that it is very well located close to everything and where you meet a lot Jerusalem walk. The only thing that requires care is if the car because the hotel has no parking and is that move with suitcases by a huge courtyard to the entrance.... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. Our experience with the staff from the people who cleaned the room to the people at the front desk was all good. Everyone tried their best to help whether it was directions to get the bus or to provide extra towels or a blanket. The heating in our room worked when we... More
