Other than the location, Lev leaves much to be desired. The rooms seen dirty yet big. The accommodations are totally fine. However, my sister and I had our biggest issue when checking in and out dealing with the staff. The front desk staff was unfriendly and responded demeaningly following simple questions like, "can we store our bags for the day?"... More

We booked the Lev Yerushalayim after getting recommendations from friends. We were more than pleased. Three generations of my family travelled to Israel. We spent 11 days in Jerusalem and this was the perfect spot to be. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had twin beds with one headboard in the bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed in... More

Not a single thing nice can be said for our stay except the location. And while it is right in the heart of everything even the location has a problem. The steep steps up to the hotel require you to walk past an ever changing assortment of homeless sleeping halfway up the stairs. The stairs appear to be piss covered.... More

I stayed there Dec 2014 with my daughter for about 6 days. The facilities are a little tired but everything was clean and in working order. The set up of the room was great (beds in one small room and then separate living/eating area). A small kitchenette was useful for light meals too. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. They... Simply great value for money, great service, great location, and great food. Yes, the rooms are dated but they are also all suites with a kitchenette, table, chairs, sofa etc. Very clean. This is by far not a luxury hotel but as prices go in Jerusalem you are getting great value for money. You are right in the center of... More

This was my daughter's first trip to Israel, came 3 generation women. The staff was wonderful ... from front desk, to security, to housekeeping, to dining room. Ben Yehuda is just out the back door ... Mahene Yehuda is just up the street. Convenient to everything. Very accommodating. Shomer Shabbos elevator and keys. Free wi-fi in the lobby, which brought... Stayed for 6 nights in October 2014 during Sukkot. Convenient, comfortable and spacious and close to shopping and within reasonable walking distance to Old City. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

good for family vacation with appartment with 2 separate room. No WIFI in the room. The price was not so good, they took their own DOLLAR rate. There is no parking in the hotel. They are not fill enough the sugar and coffee in the room.

Picture this: Waking up at 3:00 am from jet-lag, looking out the window into the courtyard below, and seeing a small figure, clothed in traditional orthodox black, hunched-down and praying, meditating on the same scripture that his family has for thousands of years before a high holy day... Yes, the rooms need updating, but the location is in the heart... More

I've stayed at the Lev twice. Location is perfect, food is more than alright, rooms are clean and spacious, the staff is wonderful! I needed some urgent assistance with an important matter and Avi and Meirav (reception) did everything to help me resolve it. They were simply amazing because that's what this hotel is all about : to offer you... More
