Price per room approximately USD $150. stayed 5 nights My experience: no control of water entering bath or shower---attachment to control broken, toilet did not flush--all took three days to fix. When letting water out of bath---water over bathroom floor not down the drain, electrical plug in bathroom did not work, sheets dirty, power failure about 4 times in five... more

location is great, near the city center. room are big but seems like no investment has been made since 20 years. Internet connection is very slow for an outrageous price. For the price asked you can find for sure a better quality. more

My mom and I stayed at this hotel 3 nights, it is perfectly located. We couldn't have chosen better. Someone complained that the interior is old and absolutely not refurbished. Fine, it is like a 70s hotel room, however clean and spacious. We had a one bedroom suite and it had a bedroom and a living room with a kitchen.... more

We booked a "Royal Suite" which was basically a room with a kitchenette and a small living area. Accommodations were adequate but not luxurious by any means. The location is great - very close to Ben Yehuda shopping street, a 20 minute walk to the Old City and access to buses on the main street. Breakfast was a disappointment after... more

This hotel is located in the Center of Jerusalem and within walking distance to everything. We booked at this hotel as it provided a suite for our family. 2 adults and 2 kids. We had a two bedroom suite, with a kitchen. This would be considered a value hotel. It is not perfect and is somewhat dated. However, if you... more

I previously stayed in this hotel in 1995. Since then, the hotel has deteriorated significantly. I booked what was called a "rennovated suite" - I don't know when it was rennovated but it is in need of major work. The carpets were stained, curtains torn, pigeon droppings on the window sills among other problems. The hotel is dirty - rooms,... more

This hotel was recommended by Frommer and this site for families with kids. We agree. We had a "suite" that was actually a large two bedroom apartment with small kitchen. Location at the top of Ben Yehuda and a few blocks from the Shuk was very convenient for us. Staff was helpful, breakfast was not the best Israeli breakfast of... more

We just returned from a week at this hotel and was great. Right in the centre of downtown Jerusalem. We walked everywhere from the hotel. 20 minute slow walk to the Old City "Jaffa Gate" and about 25 minutes to Knesset. Israel Musuem and other attrations. The central market was 5 minute walk from the hotel and we were right... more

I stayed at the Lev Yerushalayim for a week in November of 2007. For the price of $66 per night it was a bargain, considering the location has got to the best for Jerusalem. You could literally walk anywhere around town like Ben Yehuda St, Jaffa St, the shook, Mea Shearim and/or literally, a light 15 to 20 minute walk... more
