The front and lobby of this hotel is impressive and the decor is great.I have known this place for long and a lot has improved. We had room 313 on the 3rd floor with a nice front view. The light smell of paint indicated that it was recently renovated. The room was colored bordeau and there where no paintings on... More

An excellent location in one of the truly beautiful buildings in Jerusalem, it was a pleasure every time to enter the lobby, sit in the common areas and enjoy the morning buffet at the outdoor restaurant porch. The indoor pool was also pleasant and esthetic although small. A more disappointing experience was the room itself which still gives the feeling... More

We had a wonderful few days in Jerusalem with the kids, stayed at the YMCA. The location is fabulous, quick walk to the Old City, Jaffa street, the light rail. The rooms are comfortable and clean, large enough to fit three people easily. The building is magnificent, and the walk up the tower is worth it to see the amazing... More

Three Arches on King David Street, directly across from the famous King David Hotel, is Jerusalem at its best. Built by Christians in 1933, the year after (Egyptian) Jews built the King David Hotel. Arab Christians, Jews, all go to the preschool in the building and have functions in the hotel. We stayed in rooms facing the King David Hotel.... More

The hotel, designed by the same architect who designed the Empire State Building in New York, is in an ideal location, directly opposite the prestigious King David Hotel. Our room was large and clean with all amenities. The breakfast was great. The friendly staff were knowledgeable about all the attractions in Jerusalem. Free parking made it easy to stay at... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2015

I stayed with my friend and two children (boys aged 10) for five nights in June. The hotel is a lovely old building, really visually beautiful with a lovely outdoor seating area for breakfast (very nice, lots of options), other meals, or a quiet drink. The location is excellent and meant an easy walk to everything in the Old City.... More

Rooms are quite simple, but the location can't be beat. The Three Arches has a beautiful tower that can be seen from anywhere in the city (and has great views from the top!). Israeli breakfast on the hotel's lovely patio. It's only a short walk to the Jaffa Gate, the First Station for food and live music, and the Shuk... More

Forget what you imagine when you think of staying in a Y. The Three Arches YMCA in Jerusalem is a comfortable hotel, with a really cozy patio restaurant in a fantastic location.
