The building itself is beautiful and has an interesting history. The view from the tower is great. Being across the street from the King David reminded us how much we were saving each night, as the Y was about a third the cost. The food was good and plentiful, breakfast as well as dinner. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The... More

we needed to take very early flight on 19 June On the day before, the staff helped arrange mini-bus pick up and said would give 2 meal boxes to us. On 19, when checked out at 4:45am, we saw 2 meal boxes at counter but the staff ,Shaheen, (another one) said these were not ours. He showed us that another... More

We celebrate my wife birthday with a visit to Jerusalem. This hotel was a very nice surprise to us, with holding a peace of history of Jerusalem and Israel. You must go with the elevator to the top of hotel tower better near sunset - to get 360 degree view of both old and modern Jerusalem.

The location is great, The building is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, but the building is old, the furniture and beds are very simple, and yet the price is high (location). Make sure you do not miss the viewpoint from their tower (50 m high)- one of the best in Jerusalem. Best time - just before sunset when the... More

The lobby of the hotel is gorgeous but that isn't why people stay in hotels. The room was comfortable, nothing outstanding. We had a mini-fridge which is important to us. The bathroom was fine and the shower was a normal tub shower not one of those tiny, get water everywhere and can't turn around in it types. We had a... More

The hotel is great on location, rooms adequate the views from the rooms were stunning, bathrooms could use a scrub and the towels could be changed out for ones with threads. Breakfast was fair to good but Wait staff mediocre. Probably would stay again.

We stayed for three nights in this hotel. The rooms were adequate and basic. The bathrooms were small with below average towels, etc. The bathroom could also use a good scrub in the corners. The beds, however, were clean and very comfortable. When we were in Jerusalem the weather was warming up and it was great to be able to... More

Great location, Great Staff, but for the price it was a below average hotel. Rooms basic, old, dirty. Room service poor. No air conditioning. However its a really good location 5 mins from old city Jaffa Gate. The staff are really friendly and helpful. However if you have a gluten allergy they won't understand. I picked the hotel for the... More

I stayed here for a week recently and would return again if in Jerusalem. As others have said, the location is fantastic for visiting the old city and the buffet breakfast is fabulous. I had written ahead to ask for gluten free bread and every morning a smiling chef whipped a roll out of the freezer and heated it up... More
