Three Arches on King David Street, directly across from the famous King David Hotel, is Jerusalem at its best. Built by Christians in 1933, the year after (Egyptian) Jews built the King David Hotel. Arab Christians, Jews, all go to the preschool in the building and have functions in the hotel. We stayed in rooms facing the King David Hotel.... More

The hotel, designed by the same architect who designed the Empire State Building in New York, is in an ideal location, directly opposite the prestigious King David Hotel. Our room was large and clean with all amenities. The breakfast was great. The friendly staff were knowledgeable about all the attractions in Jerusalem. Free parking made it easy to stay at... More

I stayed with my friend and two children (boys aged 10) for five nights in June. The hotel is a lovely old building, really visually beautiful with a lovely outdoor seating area for breakfast (very nice, lots of options), other meals, or a quiet drink. The location is excellent and meant an easy walk to everything in the Old City.... More

Rooms are quite simple, but the location can't be beat. The Three Arches has a beautiful tower that can be seen from anywhere in the city (and has great views from the top!). Israeli breakfast on the hotel's lovely patio. It's only a short walk to the Jaffa Gate, the First Station for food and live music, and the Shuk... More

Forget what you imagine when you think of staying in a Y. The Three Arches YMCA in Jerusalem is a comfortable hotel, with a really cozy patio restaurant in a fantastic location. It is directly across the street from the famous King David Hotel and close to many fine restaurants. When my hair dryer blew a fuse, maintenance as there in... More

This hotel is a no frills, clean and basic lodging within a short walk of the old city for anyone who wants to save their shekels. Directly across from the luxe King David, this lovely historic building offers a full buffet breakfast (included with your stay), friendly staff and an indoor or outdoor restaurant. I don't know where to begin... This hotel was recommended by my friend who lives in Israel.,.across from the King David hotel for a fraction of the price! Rabie who works the front desk, is a HUGE asset for this hotel... although everybody there was ready with a helpful hand and a quick smile. Rabie helped us in numerous ways....going... More

We typically stay at a Marriott in Tel Aviv while visiting Israel but we decided that for Passion Week, we would stay in Jerusalem. We were pleased with our decision. The YMCA is located right near Old Jerusalem. While the rooms are nothing special, they are sufficient and I was happy to save US $400 per night (easily) to stay... More

This hotel is so beautiful. The building itself is old and castle-like, and the foyer boasts a stunning, wall-sized stained glass window. The location cannot be beat, either. Just a 10 minute walk from the Old City, it's easy to get around to all of the ancient sites. If you're up for it, you can even walk from the Mt.... More
