Nice, clean, great service, good breakfast, very close to damascus gate. Only downside is that is a far from any decent restaurant or bar to go to at night so a bit boring. U can still take a taxi and go to the center with 30/40 scheckels

Stayed here for 6 nights as part of a group pilgrimage. The grounds and building are beautiful--thick stone walls, archways, wooden furniture. I don't know what amenities are expected at a guesthouse but was pleasantly surprised by nice size rooms/private bath, tv, toiletries, and wifi. Staff was friendly and the food ranged from good to delicious. Location is convenient to... More

after long days of walking in the old city, i look forward to returning to my modest room at St George Cathedral Pilgrim Guest House. its no star accommodation, but the bed is super comfortable and the room is fairly large with huge closets. to my surprise i could buy wine and beer at the reception. the staff is very... To be honest, when our friends said we were booked in a monastery we thought we might be sleeping on a slab floor. Anything but - rooms were huge, clean and comfortable. Grounds were immaculate and very quaint. The breakfast was excellent. A minor point is that they should consider maintaining access to the coffee machine all day as gardens... More

Try finding a quiet, calm hotel/guest house in the area St george is located and I can safely say that it would be hard to find something like this. Even though this remains as a guest house it doesn't fall short of any star hotel, the ambience is fantastic, surrounding gardens are serene and relaxing. The rooms are clean, spacious... More

St. George's is a quite haven in East Jerusalem a short walk from the Old City. The rooms in the guest house are all unique having been created from the Jerusalem stone used to build the Cathedral Close. There are regular church services in the adjacent cathedral that you can attend as you wish. Typical middle eastern breakfasts and dinners... More

Even at this time of unrest in Jerusalem, St George's is a haven. The place is within easy walking distance of the Old City. Security is real but unobtrusive. Rooms are clean, uncluttered with comfortable beds, air conditioning and a small toilet / shower ensuite. The gardens are lovely - quiet and shady. Resident cats stalk through the bushes and... Most of the rooms are renovated, those on upper floor, in the attic and in the garden are less noisy, more spacious and comfortable. My favorite is a suite-like room n. 38. Staff is easy-going and helpful. Cleanliness is acceptable. Location is good for exploring the Old City. What is special about the guest house is its authentic, old Jerusalem... More

St. George's is a very good choice for lodging in Jerusalem and for several reasons. This was our third trip to Jerusalem and while we've stayed in good places previously, St. George's was the best by far. First, it's beautiful. This is a cathedral/garden setting with plenty of space to roam around and to sit in the courtyard to read... More
