An ideal place to stay for a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. As a female solo traveller I my main concern was a safe location and a place being walkable to the old city, this guest house delivers on both. Connected to the cathedral it is a beautiful sanctuary of peace, a perfect place to rest and reflect on all the sites... More

This is a very interesting guesthouse attached to an Anglican cathedral. Beautiful grounds, able staff, very good location (walking distance from the Damascus gate) and OK breakfast. Free parking. Interesting guests (including local Christians) It is a 5-star rating candidate. However, our room was so bad, that it took 2 stars off the final rating. First of all, I selected... More

This is the best place for pilgrims visiting Jerusalem. It is a beautiful property, wonderful staff, the food is good, a quick walk to the Old City. It is very safe. The staff is very helpful. It is a wonderful place to call "home" while visiting here.

Only two or three years ago I was recommending a few religious hospices inside the old city of Jerusalem. However, it seems that these hospices are taking advantage of their superb location and prices have skyrocketed. This time we stayed four nights at St. George’s which is a comfortable 5-10 minute walk to the Damascus gate, 5 min to the... More

The addition of a Bistro in the evenings completes the package. You no longer have to venture out of this extremely safe compound for dinner and/or a drink! The new manager, Honey Burke, welcomes each guest and immediately makes you feel at home. The staff go out of their way to accommodate any request. The gardens could not be more... More

After a nightmare reservation at the horrific Mount Olive hotel, our family drove around Jerusalem for 6 hours trying to find a hotel at the last minute. Exhausted and desperate after a long flight from Miami, we found the St. George's Cathedral Guest house. A great place to stay. Very confortable, clean, five star hospitality and so close to the... The guesthouse forms part of the beautiful St George Cathedral and was a tranquil and relaxing place to stay in Jerusalem. In East Jerusalem, it was under 10 mins walk to the Damascus Gate and so a good spot to explore the Old City from. Also easy walking distance to the new city. We did however find that restuarant options... More

I have stayed at Saint Andrews on several occasions over the past few years. It has always been a wonderful experience. What it lacks I parking and no elevator it makes up in proximity and view of Old City and convenience for walking to nearby sites and great restaurants. There breakfast is wonderful with a chef to make your omlet... More

I stayed here for six nights at the end of a pilgrimage visit. It was a wonderful place to stay. The hospitality was wonderful and the surroundings tranquil, with the cathedral adjacent for quiet reflection. Close enough to the Old City to walk there, with public transport also close by. Fascinating people visiting adds to the specialness of the place.... More
