The structure itself is really historic. The room was another matter, paint coming off the walls, mold on the ceiling, dirty blinds, and water leaking around the base of the toilet. Informed the front desk and at the time only room available. The room was number 38. No refrigerator or mini bar. Since I booked with booking.com it was going... More

Nice place in a great location. Very unique rooms and clean as well. Breakfast was great, as well as the Wi-Fi. One star loss as the rooms were cold and lacked heat, probably not a usual problem in Israel.

The guesthouse occupies a quadrangle attached to the late 19th c Gothic Revival St George's Anglican Cathedral. It has a charming garden and an attractive area for breakfast and a nice lounge both of which occupy glazed in cloisters. My room was disappointing having no desk and no outlook. Wi-Fi was only accessible in the public areas. The Rev.Honey Becker,... More

I was staying here last week one night, during music festival. It was perfect! I got my room few hours before time, even without asking. Great room, perfect location, peaceful garden and very welcoming people. Just few minutes from old city. Will come back again!

St George's Cathedral Guest House is an oasis amidst the trials and tribulations of Jerusalem. The kindness of the staff, the peaceful garden, and the generous and well kept spaces in the guest rooms serve as a perfect detox from long days touring the sites or from the constant news of strife from the occupied territories. I cannot thank the... More

This is an extremely well-located place to stay if your desire is to visit the Old City, as it's less than a 10 minute walk from Damascus Gate. The rooms are comfy and air conditioned (!), and the building itself is quite beautiful, as well as the courtyard! The breakfast in the morning also kept me going throughout the day.... More

This is a very well-located guest house which is part of the Anglican cathedral. The rooms vary, but mine was very nice. The bed was comfy and everything was super-clean. The staff were all great. Breakfast was good (lots of choices) and we really enjoyed a glass of wine in the beautiful gardens after a hot day of sightseeing. It... More

Excellent and very climatic place - guesthouse own by Anglican Church, next to Cathedral. Staff is very helpful and extremely friendly, as well as maganer, who is trying to resolve any problem, if occurs. Guesthouse has beautiful garden with trees, fountain. Wifi works very well. Rooms are decent although VERY climatic and extremely clean. You can feel like you're living... More

I had read many favorable reviews. Unfortunately, I cannot echo them. The possibilities are tremendous, but they do not achieve the possible. I had a 2-night stay. I offer highest praise for the grounds (the Cathedral is a wonderful place to pray and meditate) and the courtyard. The flowers and trees are magnificent, they have adequate Wi-Fi, and they do... An ideal place to stay for a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. As a female solo traveller I my main concern was a safe location and a place being walkable to the old city, this guest house delivers on both. Connected to the cathedral it is a beautiful sanctuary of peace, a perfect place to rest and reflect on all the sites... More
