I stayed there for five nights. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel unless you need a base within a walking distance to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The only reason I stayed in this hotel is because most other hotels were fully booked. It´s used mostly by tour groups. The hotel is situated quite far from the center, so a taxi will cost you around 10 dollars to get to the Old City. The staff was trying to be helpful however could not manage the huge crowd of tourists around new year. Stayed 1 night in December 07, arrived at 6.30am from the airport, check in was not until 2pm, they looked after our bags and sent us to the breakfast buffet and said try just after 7am your room may be ready, It was!!! Reasonable price, and the room was okay - not particularly small, and the bathroom was fine. Allthogh the hotel is old, it is a nice quite hotel. I found the room small but clean & comfortable. The staff was very friendly & helpfull. The food is good . The location was exactly what we needed. But most of everything the price we paid was fair. We will defenatly come again. more
