We stayed here in June 2014 thank god it was for only one night. There was no lift, the reception was very dated but the receptionist was quite helpful. The dining room looked like it was out of the 1950's. The room was awful, everything was worn out and needed updating. The TV did't work nor did the air conditioning.... More

This 3* hotel its only 2.5* actually. so you get what you pay for. The rooms are basic but sufficient, although they could do a little renovation to them! The outside of the hotel is noiseat night, 'till late. No lift. Breakfast not exciting, but Dining area was nice. The hotel close to places you can enjoy lunch or dinner.... More

We came back to the Palatin Hotel for the second time in 2 years. Once again wonderful experience. The staff are helpful, breakfasts good, and the location is perfect - border of Machane Yehuda and just near Jaffa Street. This Hotel is well cared for by excellent staff. We were recently told it has been in the same family for... More

This place is well located but I'm sure you can find way better deal in Jerusalem. The rooms are old fashioned, the carpet is dirty, bathroom is just ok... We found the place a bit depressing really. The staff were ok but not friendly at all. Breakfast is poor. I would not go back this is for sure.

The hotel is in a very central location, and many beautiful sites are at walking distance. The reception people are really nice and supportive. The room is clean. Very basic - bed, shower, bathroom, air condition, TV. I didn't spend much in the room - only sleep there. There is a very basic breakfast - egg, bread, cottege and white... More

The price is for the location. I would not call it a hotel more of a place to rest your limbs after walking for hours. The staff that handles the reception have that speak when your spoken to attitude. If you book into this place expect the minimum so you don´t get disappointed. We were on the 2nd floor facing... I can not express how terrible the room is. On breakfast guests were asking each other - How can they call this place a hotel. I got the room 12 which is the "presentation" room on some internet sites. There is a wrong detail you may find for this room - a size of 14 sqm, but actually it is... More

I had a very satisfying stay at the Palatin for two nights. The room was simple, but clean and big enough for two people to be comfortable. The location was excellent, being close to the Old City, restaurants and the tram. Breakfast was very good, the typical Israeli breakfast items were appreciated. The staff was very helpful and happy to... More

Jerusalem is crowded, so I didn't expect a palace for the price. But the room I had was far too small for one rather skinny person. The tiny bed was for a child, and the shower was so small you couldn't turn around without hitting the cold glass walls. Breakfast was tuna fish and cucumbers, and coffee, when the antiquated... Not too far from the old city but no free parking and it is expensive near by. Beds were clean but bathroom needed a complete re-fit. We only stayed for one night so it was acceptable and the breakfast was adequate.
