If you are looking for a good priced hotel with very nice staff in a good, safe location, this is the hotel for you. It is not luxuriously decorated, but my bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good and the staff were most helpful and courteous, so I had no complaints. I like the fact that it's old and... This is a great little hotel. It's location is very good, a short 15 minute walk to the Old City's Jaffa gate. The rooms are on the smaller side, but that is to be expected. The WiFi is very good, and they do have YES satellite. They also provide a good free breakfast. The only downside is they don't have... More

Pros: 1. Location. Everything is in a walking distance: main street (Jaffa), main market (Yehuda), bars, shops, restaurants. 2. Helpfull and friendly staff. They agreed to change the room, helped to find parking, gave some advices how to walk around better. Cons: 1. Be aware that they have different rooms. First we were given the kind of room (21), I... From the moment that I entered the reception area, I felt completely catered to. Their hospitality is second to none. My room had a wonderful view and a very comfy bed. The facilities are very clean and the air conditioner seemed brand new. The included breakfast was delicious, and the staff were extremely helpful. They provided very helpful information assistance... More

The location is wonderful. I only stayed one night because I had reservations elsewhere that could not accommodate me one night. the location couldn't be better. Right in an area with tons of restuarants, near the tram, lots of shopping. However the rooms were rather run down. The tv didn't work, no safe and my door didn't seem to shut... More

The Palatin hotel is some sort of an undiscovered gem. Although it was a little difficult for us to find it at night and on a Sabbath, once we were installed the amenities were accessible to us. Breakfast, although basic, is good with a small assortment of cheeses, eggs, bread, fish and vegetables, coffee, tea and juices plentiful and, for... More

We had a two nights stay at the hotel with my mum and had a great time. It has great location. And the staff - just amazing! So helpful and friendly and welcoming! It has a good breakfast to start up your day. With good connections for the public and tram transport. Justa a walk away from Mamilla mall and... More

excellent location, but NOT very friendly staff, NO elevators for people with bad knees or wheelchairs.. There was NO information telling us in advance that theres NO elevators and Our room was assigned 3rd floor and lobby is 2nd floor, so we had to cancel our reservations and went else where. They refused to give us money back..

Palatin Hotel is ideally located in the Ben Yehuda area. The rooms are small and basic, but clean which is a big plus. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful which is also a plus. The hotel provides a basic, Jewish breakfast, but if you don't want that, bakeries are located every direction from the hotel. One caution for... More
