Clean, simple rooms; amazing location to everything--easy walk to old city, pedestrian district next door, market and central bus station in walking distance. Staff were helpful, printed out my boarding pass, reserved my airport shuttle, found me an adapter when I thought I had forgot one. Beds were firm and not busted out like at many places. Strong wifi signal... More

My wife and I stayed here because of the location, the free wifi and the breakfast. I would consider this to be more of a hostel than a hotel due to the size of the rooms and the overall place. The upsides are that it is central to everything and you can easily walk to the most important sites. More

We did not have a reservation. What a blessing that a room was available. We had room 3 on the second floor. It had been updated and was roomy. The shower was small, but did not present a problem. Our room was clean and bright. The lobby and breakfast rooms remind one of a small British hotel - cozy, quiet and... More

Great service, room and location! Based in the heart of modern Jerusalem, we liked this family-run hotel so much, that we decided to stay an extra night. It was no problem. The staff was really helpful and nice. What I liked most, was eating breakfast in the sun on the pretty balcony, looking out over the street. Also the relaxed... More

This hotel is in an excellent location & is very inexpensive. Having said that I would recommend this hotel for only the heartiest backpackers. The room is tiny. The bathroom is even tinier. There were no dressers or drawers. We literally lived out of our suitcases. There was only one useable electric outlet. There was no electric outlet in the... More

The location is excellent. The Palatin is at the inside corner of two pedestrianised streets about 75 metres from the pedestrianised Jaffa Road. The newly introduced, state of the art, air-conditioned tram service runs up the Jaffa road so if you don't want to do the 15 minute walk to the Old City there is an excellent and cheap alternative.... Had a fabulous stay at the Palatin. The location was perfect for walking into the old city and as a base for exploring the wider city. The breakfasts were very good, but most of all we found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Recommend for anyone looking for a good budget hotel. October 2011 More

We did not want to stay in Old City of Jerusalem, and this hotel is located in the center of new part, just few steps from the new soon to be operational tram line. Walking distance to restaurants, souvenir shops and night life. No parking. Great breakfast. The rooms are small but clean. The hotel "starts" on first floor, above... More

Fabulous hotel 15 minutes from Jaffa Gate and 2 seconds from Ben Yehuda Street shops. Hotel was clean and had a typical Israeli breakfast. I have been here twice and returning in March 2012 for another week. More

The price is not fair, you got no staff, poor breakfast, rooms in awful conditions at a price that doesn't seem fair to me... A totally waste of money! It's good located and that's all. The guy at the reception is rude e worthless. The stairs are awful and you get no help with your suitcases. NOT RECOMMENDED!!! More
