The rooms are comfortable, and the service is generally good. The breakfasts are fantastic, particularly the omelets made by Chef Michael. The only criticism is that like many non-US hotels, the Dan Jerusalem seems to think WiFi should be a profit center for them, and they want to charge $20 a day for what is essentially free to them.

The hotel looked nice overall and the rooms were well maintained. I liked how the hotel had a nice sitting area with a view of Jerusalem. The view was awesome and a great place to take pictures. There was free wifi all over the hotel which was nice, because most others hotels in Israel charged for the wifi. The breakfast... More

We spent a week at this hotel. Wonderful staff. The food was very good with lots of variation in dishes. The staff could not have been nicer or more efficient and helpful. While the hotel is not located near the Old City it is only about a five minute walk from the light rail line that goes to the most... More

Dan Panorama in Tel Aviv or the Dan in J-lem always a nice stay. Great breakfast and room. I have never been disapointed. It is worth the extra if you can swing it. If you join the Dan club, make sure you ask at check in for a pass to the Dan room at the airport to relax.

Very nice hotel! I would recommend staying here when in Jerusalem. Not only was it clean, the rooms were big! You definitely got the feel of a 4-star hotel. We ate buffet and they had excellent choices to pick from. They had a great lounge area to hang out after dinner with friends. Wifi is available on the 4th floor,... More

The lobby is very impressive--the rooms are big and the amenities are nice. Service was very good at this hotel. The heating and cooling system is slow to adjust and the doors of our room opened out onto the roof which I thought was strange. We ate in the restaurant all three nights we stayed there and that got a... More

The Dan Jerusalem is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. From the exceptionally attractive lobby to the hotel room with plush towels in the bathroom to the most amazing food bar, soup station, bread station and dessert station - it is all 100% perfect. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any traveler.

The Dan in Jerusalem was a very good choice for seeing the sight in and around Jerusalem. It located in a quiet area of the city. The hotel had nice clean rooms, ours opened into a quiet grassy courtyard . The staff was helpful and courteous. The breakfasts and dinner buffets were amazing. There was a huge variety of fresh... Stayed here as part of an organized tour of Israel which included stays at 2 other Dan chain hotels which were better than this one. Uncomfortable rollout bed, unmade beds, not enough towels, clothesline broken, a/c broken, loud children running around the hallways with no adult supervision, unfriendly customer service requiring multiple requests to get what we needed. When staff... More

We stayed at this great hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. Since we wanted to know Jerusalem better, we used the light train (the station is located a few blocks away - very convenient!) If you book an executive room it comes with the lounge - very elegant and a good place to relax , they serve... More
