It always annoys me that even at this roommate there is an additional 65 shekels per day charge for WiFi use. There is no coffee/tea set in the room. The breakfast quality is quite average. The interesting thing is that breakfast in the dining room is charged at 135 shekels and in the room 30 or 75 for the all... More

I have been visiting Jerusalem for nearly 40 years. In recent years, I only stay at the David Citadel. The rooms are perfectly designed, the view of the Old City is inspiring, the heated pool in the winter is a treat, the fitness room is superb, the breakfast is excellent. In short, as someone who traveled over 250,000 Kms last... More

Upon arriving at the David Citadel after crossing from Jordan over the Allenby bridge, we were all tired and ready to unwind. Our daughters are 13 and 11. This hotel gave us that and then some. We had adjoining rooms overlooking the old city. The rooms were spacious and bright. The gym and pool are great. The breakfast buffet was... More

I came with 9 of us in a tour. This hotel is located about 15 mins walk to the Jaffa Gate. Best location for those who wanted to walk around in the old city after the tour. Our tour includes breakfast & dinner. They have wide range of selection of food for breakfast & dinner. Dinner we have a choice... More

We spent two most enjoyable days at the David Citadel from Friday afternoon to Sunday. Our flight arrive well prior to the time of check-in and as our room was not ready we were upgraded by the Manager, who then personally escorted us to the Executive Lounge, until the room had been cleaned. The service in all Departments of this... More

I just returned from a 5 night stay at the David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, the level of service got better and better. I arrived at the hotel by car as I had rented one at the airport. Immediately greeted and welcomed. My bags were unloaded and my car was... More

I was really looking forward to our visit to this hotel as I had heard so much about it. No doubt, the location is second to none, but that is where the value starts and ends. We were kept waiting for over 2 hours for our room and were told that it would be ready "any minute" for those 2... More

I truly regret you did not experience the superb hospitality we strive for. We make every effort to accommodate guest requests for upgrades and early check-in, and I am sorry we were not able to provide these due to high occupancy. I certainly agree that your check-in should have been handled more smoothly, and we note this point to further... More

Great location with restaurants and shopping outside the hotel close by. Comfortable rooms. Get one with a balcony that faces the Old City walls, as is my favorite here. Good restaurant in the hotel if you decide to dine in. Gym and Spa available here. Fast bell service. I don't like that you can have your "Do Not Disturb" light... More

I am a frequent travelor to Israel and have stayed in the better hotels in Jerusalem. This hotel (DC) is by far the most accommodating. Their check in is easy, their concierge, Ari, Aviad, Tzachi, etc, are most helpful. I always stay on the 10th floor and the executive lounge has first rate service and food. It is an excellent...
