Best location in Jerusalem. Old city is steps away. Beautiful modern hotel with very friendly staff. Great breakfast selection. Said was a excellent waiter. Always knew what I wanted when I got there. Super friendly. Check in was fast and easy.

We came to the David Citadel on Saturday evening. Pesach started on on Monday. I was a bit disappointed to see that the hotel already turned over for Pesach. I was looking for was looking forward to the yummy foods of Israel before the Chag. Luckily, I got them that night on Ben Yehudah Street. I guess how can they... More

Hotel was rated 5 star on several different sites. Unfortunately, I beg to differ. The hotel is perfectly located near the Old City. While the breakfast is included, there wasn't anything served hot, that was supposed to be hot. Cold eggs, cold pancakes, terrible service most of the time. Nearly impossible to get a HOT cup of coffee. If you... More

It was a great erev hag dinner for me and for the family in David Citadel hotel. It was a unique experience specially with the amazing smiley waiter Bilal. Thank you, and as Bilal said to us that the hotel will love to see us again. We tell the hotel that we would definitely do it again.

What better way to enjoy Passover then staying at The David Citadel Hotel! From start to finish, this hotel is perfection. Nothing is overlooked . We had just completed three weeks volunteering on an Israeli army base, through Volunteers for Israel/Sar El, something for travelers to investigate if looking for a meaningful and special travel experience . We were ready... More

It doesn't even come close. The hotel is nice however the rooms are dirty, requests, such as beds, are unfulfilled, and the quality of service for the absurd prices is unacceptable. If you want to fork over a ton of money and want to have a pleasant stay check out the other hotels in the area.

Save your money or spend your money somewhere else. With a wide assortment of hotels in this beautiful city, paying these prices for a mediocre room, complete with dirty carpets -but worse -dismissive customer service, is an outrage. As a former travel agent and lifelong traveller, I'm a (self-appointed, perhaps,) "expert" and had high hopes for this hotel. What a... More

Visiting from the states in March and everything was perfect starting from when I first arrived at reception. Adina and Stephanie were extremely friendly and helpful. I had a great time and would stay here again on my next visit.
