This hotel was just awful. The rooms were shoddy with inexcusable needs, like curtains falling down, a toilet that didn't flush at all, carpets that didn't extend to door jambs and were stained and frayed, mildew around the tub, an awful smell of cheap room deodorizer, terrible patch jobs on the walls and ceilings... Stayed in several hotels in Jerusalem over the last decade. Only stayed at Addar this month (July 09) and Iam extremely happy with what I got. The rate is very reasonable, the location is perfect and the hotel is in good shape. I am going to return to Addar in September 09. more

I am perplexed by the earlier positive comments about the Addar Hotel. I am an experienced traveller and I did not find this hotel to be worth any stars. This is a really nice hotel and we loved our stay there. From A-Z, we just loved it.The staff were excellent, the rooms were large, beautiful and very clean. Easy walk into the old city . I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone more
