Emergency stairway is blocked with old mechanical equipment and assorted piled up junk. Told the front desk twice, once in the morning and once at night. Nothing was done. If there's a fire, good luck getting out. Nothing else matters, not food, rooms or service. more

Stayed three nights in a "deluxe" room that was pretty ordinary. The card entry system to the room kept breaking, the maid service was poor, and most of the reception desk employees were not friendly. The breakfasts included were excellent, and the dinners were also good. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the old city, the government... more

As Starwood gold members, we expected an upgrade, especially since we were staying 7 nights. First day the front desk "couldn't find" a better room for us at 6pm. Early the next morning, with a shift change at the front desk, a similar but renovated and fresh room was readily available. Turns out our first room wasn't even available for... more

When I first entered the hotel and then my room I thought I was in a 1950 Moscow high rise. But this place grew on me over 2 nights. We loved the location and service. Never used the pool - too much to do in Jerusalem and the pool was uninviting. Nearby was great dining/shopping between new mall and Ben... more

The Sheraton is a perfectly decent hotel -- our room was clean, bed was very comfortable, staff was friendly and pleasant, and a great location. But the best part was the breakfast buffet each morning! Wide variety of delicious, freshly prepared food. You can do a lot of touring before you get hungry after eating breakfast here. more

I have been to JLM many times and have stayed at a number of hotels (Inbal, Dan Pan, Eldan, etc). I am a big fan of the Inbal, but on this trip I stayed at the Sheraton because it was $200 less a night! I was skeptical after reading the reviews on line, but was pleasantly surprised. I arrived on... more

Before I get into the review a caveat: I know this is one of the hotels leaving the Sheraton Starwood chain, so I don't know what changes if any will be made after June 30. We checked in on a Tuesday evening, and they had the reservation and my upgrade confirmed (I'm a Starwood Elite member). I don't know what... more
